NCAAM College Basketball, also known as NCAA Basketball, is the highest level of basketball competition in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) in the United States. College Basketball teams are made up of student-athletes attending institutions of higher education in the United States. It is one of the most popular sports in the country, with some of the most renowned NCAA Basketball teams including Duke, UNC, Kansas, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, Arizona, Syracuse, and Louisville. College Basketball is noted for its competitive intensity and passion that the student-athletes exhibit. Each NCAA Basketball season consists of a regular season with each team playing approximately 3-4 conferences games and 20-25 games outside of the conference. The season is then capped off with the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament, commonly referred to as the “Big Dance” or the “March Madness”, where 68 teams compete in single-elimination bracket to determine the Division I National Champion. This tournament remains one of the most popular sporting events in the United States and is often the most “bet on” event of the year in the US. NCAA Basketball has a long and rich history dating back to its first recorded game in 1892 and only getting more popular as the years went on. Some of the big names that have graced the NCAA Basketball courts over the years include: Lew Alcindor (renamed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar once converted to Islam), Bill Walton, Larry Bird, Michael Jordan, Tim Duncan, Magic Johnson, and LeBron James; to name a few. Overall, college basketball continues to remain one of the most popular sports in the US, with intense rivalries and passion for the sport fueling the culture of the competition. NCAA Basketball season excites fans and players alike every year, as they hope for a sweet victory in the tournament and the chance to take home a National Championship.

NC State vs VirginiaNCAAMThe No. 10 Wolfpack surge into an ACC Tournament semifinal versus the No. 3 Cavaliers. NC State stunned No. 2 Duke 74-69 in the quarters behind 14 points, 16 rebounds and four blocks by Mohamed Diarra. Virginia survived Boston College in overtime.

NC State vs North CarolinaNCAAMNo. 1 North Carolina takes on No. 10 NC State in the ACC Tournament final. The Tar Heel State rivals last met in the title game in 2007. NC State continued its string of upsets with a 73-65 overtime triumph over No. 3 Virginia in the semifinals.
Notre Dame at Georgia TechNCAAMTeams in need of a reset duel as the Yellow Jackets (8-6, 1-2 ACC) host the Fighting Irish (6-9, 1-3). Georgia Tech hasn't tasted victory since the Diamond Head Classic semifinal Dec. 22, a run of three games, while Notre Dame has lost two straight.
