\n\nCollege Basketball, also known as NCAA Basketball, is the highest level of basketball competition in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) in the United States. College Basketball teams are made up of student-athletes attending institutions of higher education in the United States. It is one of the most popular sports in the country, with some of the most renowned NCAA Basketball teams including Duke, UNC, Kansas, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, Arizona, Syracuse, and Louisville. College Basketball is noted for its competitive intensity and passion that the student-athletes exhibit. \n\nEach NCAA Basketball season consists of a regular season with each team playing approximately 3-4 conferences games and 20-25 games outside of the conference. The season is then capped off with the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament, commonly referred to as the “Big Dance” or the “March Madness”, where 68 teams compete in single-elimination bracket to determine the Division I National Champion. This tournament remains one of the most popular sporting events in the United States and is often the most “bet on” event of the year in the US. \n\nNCAA Basketball has a long and rich history dating back to its first recorded game in 1892 and only getting more popular as the years went on. Some of the big names that have graced the NCAA Basketball courts over the years include: Lew Alcindor (renamed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar once converted to Islam), Bill Walton, Larry Bird, Michael Jordan, Tim Duncan, Magic Johnson, and LeBron James; to name a few. \n\nOverall, college basketball continues to remain one of the most popular sports in the US, with intense rivalries and passion for the sport fueling the culture of the competition. NCAA Basketball season excites fans and players alike every year, as they hope for a sweet victory in the tournament and the chance to take home a National Championship.

Marquette at Butler

The No. 9 Golden Eagles (17-3, 8-1 Big East) seek a season-series sweep of the Bulldogs (9-11, 2-7). Marquette scored its 10th win in 13 tries since 2018-19 against Butler with an 80-70 decision Dec. 18, 2024. Kam Jones led the Eagles with 23 points.

North Carolina at Pittsburgh

The Panthers (13-6, 4-4 ACC) and Tar Heels (13-8, 6-3) seek momentum in this contest. North Carolina halted a two-game skid by surviving Boston College 102-96 in overtime Jan. 25, while Pittsburgh's four-game slide ended with a 77-73 win at Syracuse.

Baylor at BYU

The Bears roam into the Marriott Center for a match with the Cougars. Baylor has won its past two after beating Utah on Jan. 25. Norchad Omier recorded his ninth double-double of the season in that win. Baylor is 2-4 in true road games in 2024-25.

Oklahoma at Texas A&M

The Sooners and No. 13 Aggies complete their season series. Zhuric Phelps scored a season-high 34 points to lead Texas A&M past Oklahoma 80-78 on Jan. 8. Oklahoma started the season 13-0, then lost four straight, and has now won its past two games.

Georgia Tech at Notre Dame

The Yellow Jackets (9-11, 3-6 ACC) seek a season-series sweep of the Fighting Irish (9-10, 3-5). Georgia Tech beat Notre Dame 86-75 on New Year's Eve 2024, its largest margin of victory over the Irish since 1972. Duncan Powell (GT) scored 21 points.

Kentucky at Tennessee

The No. 12 Wildcats (14-5, 3-3 SEC) visit the No. 8 Volunteers (17-3, 4-3). Tennessee is 11-0 at home, and comes off a 53-51 loss to No. 1 Auburn. Kentucky is 5-1 facing ranked competition this season, with three wins over top-10 ranked foes.

Cincinnati at Utah

The Bearcats complete a tour of duty in the Beehive State by facing the Utes. Utah is 10-3 at the Jon M. Huntsman Center this season. Ezra Ausar has led Utah in scoring in each of its past three home games, totaling 66 points in just 75 minutes.

San Jose State at San Diego State

The Aztecs (13-5, 6-3 MWC) renew their Golden State rivalry with the Spartans (10-11, 3-6). Since San José State joined the Mountain West Conference in 2013, San Diego State is 19-1 when facing the Spartans. The Aztecs are 6-3 at Viejas Arena.

Connecticut at Xavier

The No. 19 Huskies (14-5, 6-2 Big East) seek the season-series sweep of the Musketeers (12-8, 4-5). Xavier pushed UConn to the limit on Dec. 18, 2024, but fell 94-89 in overtime. Tarris Reed Jr. (CONN) posted a 20-point, 13-rebound double-double.

St. Mary's at Washington State

The Gaels visit the Cougars for a West Coast Conference game. Washington State joined the WCC for this season and next before the Pac-12 returns in 2026-27. Cougars junior guard Nate Calmese totaled 70 points and 20 assists in his last three outings.

Gonzaga at Portland

New Mexico at UNLV

The Lobos (16-4, 8-1 MWC) look to stay hot as they visit the Rebels (11-8, 5-3). New Mexico has won nine of its last 10, with only a 71-70 upset loss to San Jose State breaking the run. UNLV is 9-2 at home after a 63-61 loss to Wyoming on Jan. 22.

San Diego State at Nevada

The Wolf Pack welcome the Aztecs to the Silver State for a Mountain West Conference contest. Following a run that saw San Diego State post a 19-3 record against Nevada over the previous 10 campaigns, the schools have split the last two season series.

Georgetown at Providence

The Friars seek their eighth consecutive victory over the Big East rival Hoyas. Each team last played against Villanova. Georgetown prevailed 64-63 on Jan. 20. Providence lost 75-73 on Jan. 17. The Hoyas have split four conference road games.

Seton Hall at Creighton

Creighton brings a four-game win streak into its Big East home test against Seton Hall. Creighton validated a 68-63 victory at then-No. 14 UConn with a 73-49 verdict at DePaul on Jan. 21. Bluejays guard Jamiya Neal totaled 38 points in those affairs.

Oregon at Minnesota

The No. 15 Ducks (16-3, 5-3 Big Ten) and Golden Gophers (10-9, 2-6) go at it for the first time since 2002. Oregon bounced back from a 65-58 setback against then-No. 17 Purdue with an 82-71 victory over old Pac-12 foe Washington on Jan. 21.
