\n\nCollege Basketball, also known as NCAA Basketball, is the highest level of basketball competition in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) in the United States. College Basketball teams are made up of student-athletes attending institutions of higher education in the United States. It is one of the most popular sports in the country, with some of the most renowned NCAA Basketball teams including Duke, UNC, Kansas, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, Arizona, Syracuse, and Louisville. College Basketball is noted for its competitive intensity and passion that the student-athletes exhibit. \n\nEach NCAA Basketball season consists of a regular season with each team playing approximately 3-4 conferences games and 20-25 games outside of the conference. The season is then capped off with the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament, commonly referred to as the “Big Dance” or the “March Madness”, where 68 teams compete in single-elimination bracket to determine the Division I National Champion. This tournament remains one of the most popular sporting events in the United States and is often the most “bet on” event of the year in the US. \n\nNCAA Basketball has a long and rich history dating back to its first recorded game in 1892 and only getting more popular as the years went on. Some of the big names that have graced the NCAA Basketball courts over the years include: Lew Alcindor (renamed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar once converted to Islam), Bill Walton, Larry Bird, Michael Jordan, Tim Duncan, Magic Johnson, and LeBron James; to name a few. \n\nOverall, college basketball continues to remain one of the most popular sports in the US, with intense rivalries and passion for the sport fueling the culture of the competition. NCAA Basketball season excites fans and players alike every year, as they hope for a sweet victory in the tournament and the chance to take home a National Championship.

NCAAMThe No. 14 Huskies (13-4, 5-1 Big East) host Ryan Kalkbrenner and the Bluejays (11-6, 4-2). The 7-foot-1 Kalkbrenner, averaging 17.8 points and 8.3 rebounds per outing, blocked six shots in each of the last two games, and 17 over the past three wins.
Alabama at Kentucky
NCAAMSEC heavyweights in the No. 4 Crimson Tide (14-3, 3-1) and No. 8 Wildcats (14-3, 3-1) trade blows in the Bluegrass State. Kentucky comes off victories over Top 25 teams Mississippi State and Texas A&M. The 'Cats toppled the Tide 117-95 last season.
Virginia at Louisville
NCAAMThe red-hot Cardinals look to keep rolling when they host an ACC tilt against the Cavaliers. Louisville demolished Syracuse 85-61 on Jan. 14 for its seventh straight victory, and moved to 6-1 in conference play for the first time since 2019-20.
Georgia Tech at Florida State
NCAAMThe Yellow Jackets try to snap a three-game ACC slide when they visit the Seminoles. Georgia Tech has won five of its last seven against Florida State, including two conference tournament matchups. The Jackets are 0-4 in true road games in 2024-25.
Houston at UCF
NCAAMThe Knights host the No. 10 Cougars. Houston is 9-0 versus UCF since 2019-20, and enters this contest on a nine-game winning streak overall. UCF guards Keyshawn Hall, Darius Johnson and Jordan Ivy-Curry combine to average 46.9 points per game.
Kansas State at Kansas
NCAAMThe No. 9 Jayhawks host the Wildcats for a Big 12 affair involving Sunflower State rivals. Kansas has won 17 consecutive meetings at Allen Fieldhouse. Kansas State last prevailed in Lawrence, Kan., in 2006. The Jayhawks are 8-1 at home this season.

North Carolina at NC State
NCAAMThe Tar Heels (10-6, 3-1 ACC) head down the highway to face the rival Wolfpack (9-6, 2-2). These schools met in the 2024 ACC Tournament final, with NC State knocking off North Carolina 84-76 to complete a Cinderella run to a March Madness berth.
Boston College at Notre Dame
NCAAMThe Fighting Irish try to snap a four-game slide against the Eagles when they meet in Indiana. Boston College eked out a pair of wins over Notre Dame by a combined seven points last season to keep its win streak against the Fighting Irish alive.
Providence at Creighton
NCAAMThe Friars head for the Cornhusker State to battle the Bluejays. This is a rematch of a Big East Tournament quarterfinal last season, when Providence knocked off Creighton 83-78. Jayden Pierre had 15 points and seven assists in the Friars' win.
Stanford at Wake Forest
NCAAMWake Forest (12-4, 4-1 ACC) rolls into this matchup against new ACC foe Stanford (11-5, 3-2). The Demon Deacons have won three in a row, and are sporting a 12-1 mark against unranked competition in 2024-25. The Cardinal have won two straight.
California at North Carolina
NCAAMThe Tar Heels (11-6, 4-1 ACC) and Golden Bears (8-8, 1-4) meet for the first time since 1998. North Carolina has won three straight and five of its last six. Tar Heels freshman guard Ian Jackson averaged 23.2 points in those half-dozen outings.
Seton Hall at Butler
NCAAMThe Pirates (6-10, 1-4 Big East) go up against the Bulldogs (7-10, 0-6). Seton Hall sophomore Isaiah Coleman has averaged 21.3 points per game across his past seven outings. Butler tries to end a nine-game slide, its longest skid since 1989-90.
