NCAAM
College Basketball, also known as NCAA Basketball, is the highest level of basketball competition in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) in the United States. College Basketball teams are made up of student-athletes attending institutions of higher education in the United States. It is one of the most popular sports in the country, with some of the most renowned NCAA Basketball teams including Duke, UNC, Kansas, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, Arizona, Syracuse, and Louisville. College Basketball is noted for its competitive intensity and passion that the student-athletes exhibit. Each NCAA Basketball season consists of a regular season with each team playing approximately 3-4 conferences games and 20-25 games outside of the conference. The season is then capped off with the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament, commonly referred to as the “Big Dance” or the “March Madness”, where 68 teams compete in single-elimination bracket to determine the Division I National Champion. This tournament remains one of the most popular sporting events in the United States and is often the most “bet on” event of the year in the US. NCAA Basketball has a long and rich history dating back to its first recorded game in 1892 and only getting more popular as the years went on. Some of the big names that have graced the NCAA Basketball courts over the years include: Lew Alcindor (renamed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar once converted to Islam), Bill Walton, Larry Bird, Michael Jordan, Tim Duncan, Magic Johnson, and LeBron James; to name a few. Overall, college basketball continues to remain one of the most popular sports in the US, with intense rivalries and passion for the sport fueling the culture of the competition. NCAA Basketball season excites fans and players alike every year, as they hope for a sweet victory in the tournament and the chance to take home a National Championship.

NCAAMThe 2024 Garden State Hardwood Classic sees the Pirates (5-5) visit the Scarlet Knights (6-4). Seton Hall leads the all-time series 42-32 against its in-state rival. Rutgers snapped a three-game slide by defeating Penn State 80-76 on Dec. 10.
Stephen F. Austin State at Oregon
NCAAMBig man Nate Bittle and the No. 12 Ducks (9-1) brace for the Lumberjacks (5-5). Oregon comes off a 73-71 setback against UCLA. Bittle, a 7-foot senior, averages 14.4 points and 9.1 rebounds per game after collecting 22 and 10 against the Bruins.
Creighton at Alabama
NCAAMAP preseason All-American Mark Sears and the No. 7 Crimson Tide (7-2) host the Bluejays (7-3). Sears, a senior guard, averages 16.4 points per game. Creighton won the last meeting, 85-82 in 2023-24 with Ryan Kalkbrenner contributing 19 points.
Grand Canyon vs Georgia
NCAAMThe Lopes (6-2) take on the Bulldogs (8-1) to cap off a Holiday Hoopsgiving triple-header in Atlanta. Georgia hasn't played since a 69-48 triumph over Notre Dame on Dec. 3. Grand Canyon is on a four-game win streak, including a victory over Stanford.
North Carolina vs Florida
NCAAMThe Tar Heels play the Gators in the Jumpman Invitational. North Carolina is 2-0 all-time at the Jumpman and Florida is 1-1, but the schools have not faced each other in the event. The programs last met in 2014, when UNC won 75-64 in the Bahamas.

Iowa State at Iowa
NCAAMThe No. 3 Cyclones (7-1) resume their rivalry with the Hawkeyes (7-2). Iowa leads this installment of the Cy-Hawk Series 48-29 after Iowa State prevailed 90-65 in Ames last season. The Cyclones haven't been ranked this high since the 1956-57 season.
Georgia Tech at North Carolina
NCAAMThe No. 20 Tar Heels (4-4) and Yellow Jackets (4-4) open up their ACC schedules for 2024-25. Georgia Tech snapped a three-game skid in its series against North Carolina with a one-point home win Jan. 30. UNC has dropped three in a row.
Indiana at Nebraska
NCAAMThe Hoosiers (8-2, 1-0 Big Ten) battle the Cornhuskers (6-2, 0-1). Indiana has won fourth straight including its conference opener against Minnesota. Nebraska won all three meetings with Indiana last season, including a Big Ten quarterfinal match.
Bethune-Cookman at Virginia
NCAAMThe Wildcats (2-6) continue a nine-game road swing when they face the Cavaliers (5-4). Virginia is 4-0 on home court this season. Bethune-Cookman is led by Brayon Freeman, playing for his fourth program since 2021 and averaging 16.5 points per game.
Texas A&M vs Purdue
NCAAMThe No. 17 Aggies face the No. 11 Boilermakers in the Indy Classic. Texas A&M's four-game run includes two wins at the Players Era Festival, and a 72-67 decision over Texas Tech at the Coast-to-Coast Challenge. Purdue is 2-0 all-time at the Classic.
Coppin State at Penn State
NCAAMThe Nittany Lions (8-2) try to shake off their first conference loss when they host the Eagles (0-11). Penn State fell 80-76 to Rutgers on Dec. 10. PSU's Zach Hicks, a New Jersey native, shot 6-for-10 from 3-point range for 20 points in the loss.
