\n\nCollege Basketball, also known as NCAA Basketball, is the highest level of basketball competition in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) in the United States. College Basketball teams are made up of student-athletes attending institutions of higher education in the United States. It is one of the most popular sports in the country, with some of the most renowned NCAA Basketball teams including Duke, UNC, Kansas, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, Arizona, Syracuse, and Louisville. College Basketball is noted for its competitive intensity and passion that the student-athletes exhibit. \n\nEach NCAA Basketball season consists of a regular season with each team playing approximately 3-4 conferences games and 20-25 games outside of the conference. The season is then capped off with the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament, commonly referred to as the “Big Dance” or the “March Madness”, where 68 teams compete in single-elimination bracket to determine the Division I National Champion. This tournament remains one of the most popular sporting events in the United States and is often the most “bet on” event of the year in the US. \n\nNCAA Basketball has a long and rich history dating back to its first recorded game in 1892 and only getting more popular as the years went on. Some of the big names that have graced the NCAA Basketball courts over the years include: Lew Alcindor (renamed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar once converted to Islam), Bill Walton, Larry Bird, Michael Jordan, Tim Duncan, Magic Johnson, and LeBron James; to name a few. \n\nOverall, college basketball continues to remain one of the most popular sports in the US, with intense rivalries and passion for the sport fueling the culture of the competition. NCAA Basketball season excites fans and players alike every year, as they hope for a sweet victory in the tournament and the chance to take home a National Championship.

NCAAMThe No. 12 Sooners (13-0) roll into their SEC opener with the No. 5 Crimson Tide (11-2). Oklahoma smashed Prairie View A&M 89-67 on Dec. 29, 2024, for its best start to a season since 1988. Alabama has won five in a row, but lost to Oklahoma in 2023.
Syracuse at Florida State
NCAAMThe Orange and Seminoles play their first game of 2025. Jamir Watkins poured in 27 points to help Florida State take down Syracuse 85-69 during their lone meeting in 2023-24. Watkins is averaging 25.3 points across his past four games in 2024-25.
Texas-San Antonio at Tulane
NCAAMThe Green Wave (7-7, 1-0) host the Roadrunners (6-6, 0-0) for an American Athletic Conference game. Tulane has won two straight after defeating Charlotte 93-68 in its AAC opener. UTSA senior guard Primo Spears averages 22.3 points per game.
UCLA at Nebraska
NCAAMThe No. 15 Bruins (11-2, 2-0 Big Ten) battle Brice Williams and the streaking Cornhuskers (11-2, 1-1). UCLA last played in Lincoln, Neb., in 1955. Williams, a 6-foot-7 senior guard, averages 19 points per game. The Huskers have won five in a row.
Middle Tennessee State at Liberty
NCAAMThe Flames welcome the Blue Raiders to Liberty Arena for a Conference USA affair. The programs split a pair of meetings last season, which was Liberty's first in C-USA. Flames 6-foot-7 forward Zach Cleveland totaled 37 points in those games.
Stanford at Pittsburgh
NCAAMThe Panthers (11-2, 2-0 ACC) own a four-game win streak as they host the Cardinal (9-4, 1-1). Pittsburgh plays its second straight ACC newcomer after beating California 86-74. Maxime Raynaud (STAN) averages 20.8 points and 11.9 rebounds per outing.
Michigan at USC
NCAAMMichigan (10-3, 2-0) and USC (9-4, 1-1) begin their Big Ten rivalry with the first meeting since 1982. Michigan won conference games over Wisconsin and Iowa by a combined five points with Vladislav Goldin scoring a total of 44 in those affairs.

North Carolina at Louisville
NCAAMThe Tar Heels look to make it six straight wins against the Cardinals in ACC action. North Carolina took out Louisville 86-70 in the lone meeting last season. Workhorse guard RJ Davis led the Tar Heels with 21 points and six assists in that triumph.
Villanova at Butler
NCAAMThe Wildcats (8-5, 1-1 Big East) visit the Bulldogs (7-6, 0-2) at historic Hinkle Fieldhouse. Villanova's Eric Dixon goes for 25.8 points per game. The sides have split the last two season series with Dixon averaging 20.3 points in the four meetings.
Notre Dame at Georgia Tech
NCAAMThe Fighting Irish ride a three-game win streak into their ACC road test against the Yellow Jackets. Notre Dame swept three meetings last season by a combined 14 points. The Fighting Irish won their ACC opener, 69-64 over the Orange on Dec. 7.
Virginia Tech at Duke
NCAAMThe No. 4 Blue Devils (10-2, 2-0 ACC) try to resume their winning ways as they host the Hokies (5-7, 0-1). Duke took a six-game win streak into the Christmas week break. Devils freshman Cooper Flagg averages 16.3 points and 8.6 rebounds per game.
