\n\nCollege Basketball, also known as NCAA Basketball, is the highest level of basketball competition in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) in the United States. College Basketball teams are made up of student-athletes attending institutions of higher education in the United States. It is one of the most popular sports in the country, with some of the most renowned NCAA Basketball teams including Duke, UNC, Kansas, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, Arizona, Syracuse, and Louisville. College Basketball is noted for its competitive intensity and passion that the student-athletes exhibit. \n\nEach NCAA Basketball season consists of a regular season with each team playing approximately 3-4 conferences games and 20-25 games outside of the conference. The season is then capped off with the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament, commonly referred to as the “Big Dance” or the “March Madness”, where 68 teams compete in single-elimination bracket to determine the Division I National Champion. This tournament remains one of the most popular sporting events in the United States and is often the most “bet on” event of the year in the US. \n\nNCAA Basketball has a long and rich history dating back to its first recorded game in 1892 and only getting more popular as the years went on. Some of the big names that have graced the NCAA Basketball courts over the years include: Lew Alcindor (renamed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar once converted to Islam), Bill Walton, Larry Bird, Michael Jordan, Tim Duncan, Magic Johnson, and LeBron James; to name a few. \n\nOverall, college basketball continues to remain one of the most popular sports in the US, with intense rivalries and passion for the sport fueling the culture of the competition. NCAA Basketball season excites fans and players alike every year, as they hope for a sweet victory in the tournament and the chance to take home a National Championship.

NCAAMThe No. 9 Huskies (12-3, 4-0 Big East) try to stay perfect on the mainland as they seek vie for a fifth straight victory over the Wildcats (10-5, 3-1). UConn started the season 4-0, went 0-3 in the Maui Invitational and won all its games since.
Air Force at San Diego State
NCAAMThe Aztecs (9-3, 2-1) try for their 10th straight victory over the Mountain West foe Falcons (3-11, 0-3). San Diego State has won six of its last seven after a 76-68 victory at Boise State behind a career-high 22 points by 6-foot-7 guard Miles Byrd.
Georgia Tech at Syracuse
NCAAMThe streaking Yellow Jackets (8-7, 2-2 ACC) visit the Orange (6-8, 0-3). Georgia Tech has triumphed in three straight contests, including conference wins over Notre Dame and Boston College. Syracuse is 4-3 at home against Georgia Tech since 2014.
SMU at North Carolina
NCAAMThe Tar Heels run with the Mustangs. North Carolina needed a last-second four-point play to get past Notre Dame 74-73 on Jan. 4. Ian Jackson (UNC) is averaging 25 points per game across his past four outings after providing 27 in that win.
Pittsburgh at Duke
NCAAMThe No. 4 Blue Devils (12-2, 4-0) host the Panthers (12-2, 3-0) for an ACC contest. Last season, Pittsburgh scored just its third win in 14 tries against Duke since joining the ACC. Duke has won eight in a row, while Pitt has claimed five straight.

Illinois at Washington
NCAAMThe No. 22 Fighting Illini (10-3, 2-1 Big Ten) end a two-game stay in the Pacific Northwest by facing the Huskies (10-4, 1-2). Illinois' first conference game in the Pacific Time Zone saw the Illini destroy Oregon 109-77 behind Tre White's 20 points.
UCLA at Nebraska
NCAAMThe No. 15 Bruins (11-2, 2-0 Big Ten) battle Brice Williams and the streaking Cornhuskers (11-2, 1-1). UCLA last played in Lincoln, Neb., in 1955. Williams, a 6-foot-7 senior guard, averages 19 points per game. The Huskers have won five in a row.
California at Clemson
NCAAMThe Golden Eagles descend on Littlejohn Coliseum to play the Tigers. Clemson beat California 67-59 at the Emerald Coast Classic in 2022 during their only previous meeting. Chase Hunter (CLEM) hit team highs of 14 points and seven assists in that win.
Stanford at Pittsburgh
NCAAMThe Panthers (11-2, 2-0 ACC) own a four-game win streak as they host the Cardinal (9-4, 1-1). Pittsburgh plays its second straight ACC newcomer after beating California 86-74. Maxime Raynaud (STAN) averages 20.8 points and 11.9 rebounds per outing.
Wisconsin at Rutgers
NCAAMThe Badgers roll into this league game with the Scarlet Knights. Wisconsin's 116 points in a win over Iowa on Jan. 4 was its most at the Kohl Center, and its second-highest total in a game overall. Ace Bailey (RUTG) scored 39 points in a loss Jan. 2.
Ohio State at Minnesota
NCAAMThe Buckeyes regroup when they visit the Golden Gophers. Ohio State had won three straight, with Bruce Thornton authoring back-to-back 30-point performances, until a 69-62 setback hosting Michigan State on Jan. 3. Minnesota is 8-3 on its home court.
St. John's at Xavier
NCAAMThe Musketeers host the Red Storm. St. John's has won seven of its past eight overall. Xavier is sliding, with losses in four of its last five. Xavier's Dayvion McKnight had 19 points and six assists in an 88-77 home win over St. John's in 2023-24.
