\n\nCollege Basketball, also known as NCAA Basketball, is the highest level of basketball competition in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) in the United States. College Basketball teams are made up of student-athletes attending institutions of higher education in the United States. It is one of the most popular sports in the country, with some of the most renowned NCAA Basketball teams including Duke, UNC, Kansas, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, Arizona, Syracuse, and Louisville. College Basketball is noted for its competitive intensity and passion that the student-athletes exhibit. \n\nEach NCAA Basketball season consists of a regular season with each team playing approximately 3-4 conferences games and 20-25 games outside of the conference. The season is then capped off with the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament, commonly referred to as the “Big Dance” or the “March Madness”, where 68 teams compete in single-elimination bracket to determine the Division I National Champion. This tournament remains one of the most popular sporting events in the United States and is often the most “bet on” event of the year in the US. \n\nNCAA Basketball has a long and rich history dating back to its first recorded game in 1892 and only getting more popular as the years went on. Some of the big names that have graced the NCAA Basketball courts over the years include: Lew Alcindor (renamed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar once converted to Islam), Bill Walton, Larry Bird, Michael Jordan, Tim Duncan, Magic Johnson, and LeBron James; to name a few. \n\nOverall, college basketball continues to remain one of the most popular sports in the US, with intense rivalries and passion for the sport fueling the culture of the competition. NCAA Basketball season excites fans and players alike every year, as they hope for a sweet victory in the tournament and the chance to take home a National Championship.

The Aggies (13-4, 2-2 SEC) host the Tigers (12-5, 1-3). Texas A&M has dropped consecutive games to then-No. 5 Alabama and at No. 8 Kentucky. Cam Carter (LSU) averages 17.7 points per outing after scoring a season-high 27 in a 78-74 win over Arkansas.

Wake Forest at Virginia Tech

ACC rivals in the Demon Deacons and Hokies continue a series that began in 1912. Wake Forest has won two straight on the road. The schools split a pair last season. Deacons guard Hunter Sallis totaled 31 points and 14 rebounds in those meetings.

TCU at Baylor

The No. 25 Bears (11-5, 3-2 Big 12) welcome the Horned Frogs (9-7, 2-3) to Foster Pavilion. Baylor has won six of its last eight games following an 81-70 loss at Arizona. TCU senior guard Noah Reynolds is averaging 18 points in his last six outings.

Nebraska at Maryland

The Terrapins try to continue their success against the Cornhuskers in a Big Ten game. Maryland leads the series 12-4 after winning six of the last seven engagements. The Terrapins are 11-1 at the Xfinity Center. Nebraska is 4-4 away from home.

Notre Dame at Syracuse

The Orange (8-9, 2-4 ACC) try to exact revenge on the Fighting Irish (8-9, 2-4). Notre Dame won 69-64 on Dec. 7, 2024, to snap a three-game slide against Syracuse. Sophomore Braeden Shrewsberry matched his career high with 25 points for the Irish.

California at NC State

The Golden Bears complete their trip through the Tar Heel State by taking on the ACC foe Wolfpack. NC State is 9-2 at Lenovo Center. The programs last met in the 2006 NCAA Tournament, when NC State ousted California 58-52 in the first round.

William & Mary at UNC-Wilmington

The Tribe take on the Seahawks. William & Mary has won six straight games, with the past two coming by just three points. UNC Wilmington has won four of the past five against William & Mary, including 81-65 last season in Williamsburg, Va.

Hofstra at Drexel

The Pride (10-8, 2-3 CAA) travel to Philadelphia to take on the Dragons (10-8, 2-3). Since the start of 2014-15, Hofstra has won 18 of the 21 meetings with Drexel, including both conference tournament games, but the Dragons claimed a win last season.

The red-hot Cardinals (12-5, 5-1) hit the road for an ACC engagement with the Orange (8-8, 2-3). Louisville has won six straight following an 82-78 victory at Pittsburgh behind Reyne Smith's 25 points. Syracuse boasts a four-game series win streak.

Rutgers at Nebraska

The Cornhuskers host the Scarlet Knights. Ace Bailey had 20 points and 10 rebounds in a 75-68 win over UCLA on Jan. 13, helping Rutgers snap a three-game skid. Bailey exploded for 39 points in his last road outing, an 84-74 loss to Indiana on Jan. 2.

Maryland at Northwestern

Nick Martinelli and the Wildcats try to stop a three-game slide as they host the Terrapins for a Big Ten contest. Martinelli, a junior forward, averages 19.9 points per outing after scoring 27 in a 78-68 setback against then-No. 16 Michigan State.

Boston College at Notre Dame

The Fighting Irish try to snap a four-game slide against the Eagles when they meet in Indiana. Boston College eked out a pair of wins over Notre Dame by a combined seven points last season to keep its win streak against the Fighting Irish alive.

Michigan at Minnesota

No. 20 Michigan (13-3, 5-0) brings a five-game win streak into a Big Ten battle with Minnesota (8-9, 0-6). The Wolverines won those games by an average of 25 points. Danny Wolf (MICH) averages 12.4 points, 10.1 rebounds and 3.9 assists per outing.

Miami at Duke

The No. 3 Blue Devils host the Hurricanes. Cooper Flagg's historic 42-point performance propelled Duke to its 10th straight win Jan. 11, beating Notre Dame 86-78. Flagg broke Duke's freshman scoring record of 35 set by Zion Williamson in 2019.

SMU at Virginia

The Cavaliers rematch with the Mustangs. SMU beat Virginia 63-51 in its introduction to ACC competition Dec. 7, 2024. SMU senior Kario Oquendo scored 21 points off the bench in that win. Virginia is 7-2 on its home court in 2024-25.
