\n\nCollege Basketball, also known as NCAA Basketball, is the highest level of basketball competition in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) in the United States. College Basketball teams are made up of student-athletes attending institutions of higher education in the United States. It is one of the most popular sports in the country, with some of the most renowned NCAA Basketball teams including Duke, UNC, Kansas, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, Arizona, Syracuse, and Louisville. College Basketball is noted for its competitive intensity and passion that the student-athletes exhibit. \n\nEach NCAA Basketball season consists of a regular season with each team playing approximately 3-4 conferences games and 20-25 games outside of the conference. The season is then capped off with the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament, commonly referred to as the “Big Dance” or the “March Madness”, where 68 teams compete in single-elimination bracket to determine the Division I National Champion. This tournament remains one of the most popular sporting events in the United States and is often the most “bet on” event of the year in the US. \n\nNCAA Basketball has a long and rich history dating back to its first recorded game in 1892 and only getting more popular as the years went on. Some of the big names that have graced the NCAA Basketball courts over the years include: Lew Alcindor (renamed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar once converted to Islam), Bill Walton, Larry Bird, Michael Jordan, Tim Duncan, Magic Johnson, and LeBron James; to name a few. \n\nOverall, college basketball continues to remain one of the most popular sports in the US, with intense rivalries and passion for the sport fueling the culture of the competition. NCAA Basketball season excites fans and players alike every year, as they hope for a sweet victory in the tournament and the chance to take home a National Championship.

Texas-El Paso at Liberty

The Miners hit the road to play the Flames following a seven-game homestand. UTEP went 6-1 during that stretch, losing only at the end to New Mexico State on Jan. 11. Liberty went 1-2 versus UTEP during its first season in Conference USA in 2023-24.

Rutgers at Nebraska

The Cornhuskers host the Scarlet Knights. Ace Bailey had 20 points and 10 rebounds in a 75-68 win over UCLA on Jan. 13, helping Rutgers snap a three-game skid. Bailey exploded for 39 points in his last road outing, an 84-74 loss to Indiana on Jan. 2.

The Fighting Camels (7-9, 2-1 CAA) meet the Phoenix (11-5, 2-1) for a Tar Heel State duel. Campbell won both meetings against Elon last season, its first in the Coastal Athletic Association. Jasin Sinani (CAM) averaged 13.5 points in those games.

North Carolina at NC State

The Tar Heels (10-6, 3-1 ACC) head down the highway to face the rival Wolfpack (9-6, 2-2). These schools met in the 2024 ACC Tournament final, with NC State knocking off North Carolina 84-76 to complete a Cinderella run to a March Madness berth.

UCLA at Rutgers

The Bruins complete a swing on the East Coast by squaring off against the Scarlet Knights. Rutgers' dynamic freshman duo of Dylan Harper and Ace Bailey are combining to score 39 points per game. The Knights are 7-2 at Jersey Mike's Arena this season.
