NCAAM
College Basketball, also known as NCAA Basketball, is the highest level of basketball competition in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) in the United States. College Basketball teams are made up of student-athletes attending institutions of higher education in the United States. It is one of the most popular sports in the country, with some of the most renowned NCAA Basketball teams including Duke, UNC, Kansas, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, Arizona, Syracuse, and Louisville. College Basketball is noted for its competitive intensity and passion that the student-athletes exhibit. Each NCAA Basketball season consists of a regular season with each team playing approximately 3-4 conferences games and 20-25 games outside of the conference. The season is then capped off with the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament, commonly referred to as the “Big Dance” or the “March Madness”, where 68 teams compete in single-elimination bracket to determine the Division I National Champion. This tournament remains one of the most popular sporting events in the United States and is often the most “bet on” event of the year in the US. NCAA Basketball has a long and rich history dating back to its first recorded game in 1892 and only getting more popular as the years went on. Some of the big names that have graced the NCAA Basketball courts over the years include: Lew Alcindor (renamed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar once converted to Islam), Bill Walton, Larry Bird, Michael Jordan, Tim Duncan, Magic Johnson, and LeBron James; to name a few. Overall, college basketball continues to remain one of the most popular sports in the US, with intense rivalries and passion for the sport fueling the culture of the competition. NCAA Basketball season excites fans and players alike every year, as they hope for a sweet victory in the tournament and the chance to take home a National Championship.

NCAAMThe No. 3 Braves (28-8) host the Mocs (26-9) in a NIT quarterfinal from Peoria, Ill. Honor Huff's 26 points helped Chattanooga drop No. 1 Dayton at home 87-72, while Bradley got by No. 2 George Mason on the strength of Corey Thomas' double-double.
North Texas at Oklahoma State
NCAAMThe No. 2 Mean Green draw the No. 4 Cowboys in this NIT quarterfinal. Jasper Floyd's floater in the dying seconds gave North Texas a 65-63 win over Arkansas State in round two. Oklahoma State also advanced with a two-point victory, taking out SMU.
Kent State at Loyola-Chicago
NCAAMJayden Dawson and the Ramblers host Jalen Sullinger and the Golden Flashes for an NIT quarterfinal. Loyola Chicago eliminated San Francisco behind a career-high 35 points from Dawson. Sullinger's career-best 34 points pushed Kent State past Stanford.
Alabama-Birmingham at UC Irvine
NCAAMThe No. 1 Anteaters host the Blazers in the NIT quarterfinals. UC Irvine reached 30 wins for only the second time in program history after its second-round victory over Jacksonville State. UAB erased a 17-point deficit to eliminate Santa Clara.
BYU vs Alabama
NCAAMThe No. 6 Cougars march on to face the No. 2 Crimson Tide in the NCAA Tournament's Sweet 16. BYU hung on to knock off No. 3 Wisconsin 91-89 in the second round behind 25 points from Richie Saunders. Alabama took out Robert Morris and Saint Mary's.

Baylor vs Mississippi State
NCAAMThe No. 8 seed Bulldogs battle the No. 9 Bears in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. The programs last met in the 2018 NIT. Baylor makes its sixth straight appearance in the Big Dance, a run that includes a national championship in 2021.
Mount St. Mary's vs Duke
NCAAMThe No. 1 Blue Devils draw the No. 16 Mountaineers in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. Cooper Flagg is expected to be available for Duke after suffering an injury in the ACC Tournament. Mount St. Mary's dispatched American in the First Four.
Troy vs Kentucky
NCAAMThe No. 3 Wildcats look to progress over the No. 14 Trojans in the NCAA Tournament's opening round. Kentucky has been an upset victim in two of the last three tournaments, falling to No. 15 St. Peter's in 2022 and No. 14 Oakland last season.
Xavier vs Illinois
NCAAMThe No. 11 seed Musketeers march into their NCAA Tournament first-round game against the No. 6 Fighting Illini. Xavier erased a 10-point second-half deficit in a First Four contest to beat Texas going away 86-80 behind Marcus Foster's 22 points.
McNeese State vs Purdue
NCAAMThe No. 12 Cowboys ride high into the second round of the NCAA Tournament against the No. 4 Boilermakers. McNeese survived a furious rally from No. 5 Clemson to earn a 69-67 opening-round victory, its first at the Big Dance. Purdue ousted High Point.
Arkansas vs St. John's
NCAAMRenowned coaches duel as the No. 2 Red Storm face the No. 10 Razorbacks in the NCAA Tournament's second round. Rick Pitino's St. John's sent Omaha packing 83-53 in the first round, while John Calipari's Arkansas eliminated Kansas with a 79-72 win.
Michigan vs Texas A&M
NCAAMThe No. 4 Aggies face the No. 5 Wolverines in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. Pharrel Payne recorded a career-high 25 points and 10 rebounds in Texas A&M's 80-71 victory over Yale in the first round. Michigan rebuffed UC San Diego 68-65.
BYU vs Wisconsin
NCAAMThe No. 3 seed Badgers battle the No. 6 Cougars in the NCAA Tournament's second round. Wisconsin ousted Montana 85-66 in its opener. BYU got its first NCAA win since 2012, parlaying a 15-4 run to close the first half into an 80-71 verdict over VCU.
