\n\nCollege Basketball, also known as NCAA Basketball, is the highest level of basketball competition in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) in the United States. College Basketball teams are made up of student-athletes attending institutions of higher education in the United States. It is one of the most popular sports in the country, with some of the most renowned NCAA Basketball teams including Duke, UNC, Kansas, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, Arizona, Syracuse, and Louisville. College Basketball is noted for its competitive intensity and passion that the student-athletes exhibit. \n\nEach NCAA Basketball season consists of a regular season with each team playing approximately 3-4 conferences games and 20-25 games outside of the conference. The season is then capped off with the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament, commonly referred to as the “Big Dance” or the “March Madness”, where 68 teams compete in single-elimination bracket to determine the Division I National Champion. This tournament remains one of the most popular sporting events in the United States and is often the most “bet on” event of the year in the US. \n\nNCAA Basketball has a long and rich history dating back to its first recorded game in 1892 and only getting more popular as the years went on. Some of the big names that have graced the NCAA Basketball courts over the years include: Lew Alcindor (renamed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar once converted to Islam), Bill Walton, Larry Bird, Michael Jordan, Tim Duncan, Magic Johnson, and LeBron James; to name a few. \n\nOverall, college basketball continues to remain one of the most popular sports in the US, with intense rivalries and passion for the sport fueling the culture of the competition. NCAA Basketball season excites fans and players alike every year, as they hope for a sweet victory in the tournament and the chance to take home a National Championship.

Ole Miss at Arkansas

The Razorbacks (11-3, 0-1) welcome the SEC rival No. 23 Rebels (12-2, 1-0) to Bud Walton Arena. Ole Miss opened its conference campaign with a 63-51 victory over Georgia. Arkansas saw its six-game win streak snapped, 76-52 at No. 1 Tennessee.

Alabama at South Carolina

The Gamecocks reset for a tough stretch, starting with the No. 5 Crimson Tide. Alabama seeks a sixth straight victory overall, and 10th straight versus South Carolina. Bama's Mark Sears went off for 31 points during a 74-47 thrashing on Jan. 9, 2024.

Florida State at Miami

The Hurricanes seek their first win under interim head coach Bill Courtney when they host the Seminoles. Florida State beat Syracuse on Jan. 4 for its first ACC triumph in 2024-25. Miami has lost to Boston College and Virginia Tech in the new year.

Notre Dame at NC State

The Wolfpack share the floor with the Fighting Irish. Both programs sport 1-2 records in ACC action, and each enters this contest looking to shake a two-game slide. Notre Dame's Markus Burton had 18 points in a 54-52 loss to NC State in 2023-24.

The No. 22 Fighting Illini (10-3, 2-1 Big Ten) end a two-game stay in the Pacific Northwest by facing the Huskies (10-4, 1-2). Illinois' first conference game in the Pacific Time Zone saw the Illini destroy Oregon 109-77 behind Tre White's 20 points.

California at Clemson

The Golden Eagles descend on Littlejohn Coliseum to play the Tigers. Clemson beat California 67-59 at the Emerald Coast Classic in 2022 during their only previous meeting. Chase Hunter (CLEM) hit team highs of 14 points and seven assists in that win.

Stanford at Pittsburgh

The Panthers (11-2, 2-0 ACC) own a four-game win streak as they host the Cardinal (9-4, 1-1). Pittsburgh plays its second straight ACC newcomer after beating California 86-74. Maxime Raynaud (STAN) averages 20.8 points and 11.9 rebounds per outing.
