\n\nCollege Basketball, also known as NCAA Basketball, is the highest level of basketball competition in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) in the United States. College Basketball teams are made up of student-athletes attending institutions of higher education in the United States. It is one of the most popular sports in the country, with some of the most renowned NCAA Basketball teams including Duke, UNC, Kansas, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, Arizona, Syracuse, and Louisville. College Basketball is noted for its competitive intensity and passion that the student-athletes exhibit. \n\nEach NCAA Basketball season consists of a regular season with each team playing approximately 3-4 conferences games and 20-25 games outside of the conference. The season is then capped off with the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament, commonly referred to as the “Big Dance” or the “March Madness”, where 68 teams compete in single-elimination bracket to determine the Division I National Champion. This tournament remains one of the most popular sporting events in the United States and is often the most “bet on” event of the year in the US. \n\nNCAA Basketball has a long and rich history dating back to its first recorded game in 1892 and only getting more popular as the years went on. Some of the big names that have graced the NCAA Basketball courts over the years include: Lew Alcindor (renamed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar once converted to Islam), Bill Walton, Larry Bird, Michael Jordan, Tim Duncan, Magic Johnson, and LeBron James; to name a few. \n\nOverall, college basketball continues to remain one of the most popular sports in the US, with intense rivalries and passion for the sport fueling the culture of the competition. NCAA Basketball season excites fans and players alike every year, as they hope for a sweet victory in the tournament and the chance to take home a National Championship.

Michigan State at Northwestern
NCAAMNo. 16 Michigan State (13-2, 4-0 Big Ten) seeks a ninth straight win when it visits Northwestern (10-5, 1-3). The Wildcats' three-game win streak against the Spartans was snapped last season when Michigan State grinded out a 53-49 victory.
Nebraska at Purdue
NCAAMBrice Williams and the Cornhuskers visit the No. 20 Boilermakers for a Big Ten game. Williams averages 19.4 points per outing. The 6-foot-7 guard had nine points, 11 rebounds and nine assists in an 88-72 victory over then-No. 1 Purdue last season.
Washington at Michigan
NCAAMThe Huskies (10-6, 1-4 Big Ten) end a two-game stay in the Great Lakes State by facing the No. 24 Wolverines (12-3, 4-0). Washington received a rude welcome from No. 16 Michigan State, getting drubbed 88-54 on Jan. 9. Michigan has won four straight.
Oregon at Penn State
NCAAMThe Nittany Lions (12-4, 2-3 Big Ten) face a tough test as they host the No. 15 Ducks (14-2, 3-2). Penn State has dropped two in a row following a 91-52 humbling at the hands of No. 13 Illinois on Jan. 8. Oregon is 3-0 in enemy territory this season.

NCAAMThe Tar Heels run with the Mustangs. North Carolina needed a last-second four-point play to get past Notre Dame 74-73 on Jan. 4. Ian Jackson (UNC) is averaging 25 points per game across his past four outings after providing 27 in that win.
Pittsburgh at Duke
NCAAMThe No. 4 Blue Devils (12-2, 4-0) host the Panthers (12-2, 3-0) for an ACC contest. Last season, Pittsburgh scored just its third win in 14 tries against Duke since joining the ACC. Duke has won eight in a row, while Pitt has claimed five straight.
Connecticut at Villanova
NCAAMThe No. 9 Huskies (12-3, 4-0 Big East) try to stay perfect on the mainland as they seek vie for a fifth straight victory over the Wildcats (10-5, 3-1). UConn started the season 4-0, went 0-3 in the Maui Invitational and won all its games since.
UNC-Greensboro at UT-Chattanooga
NCAAMThe Mocs (9-6, 1-1 SoCon) try to slow up the Spartans (9-6, 2-0). UNC Greensboro's three-game run includes wins over conference foes Wofford and Furman. Trey Bonham went off for 31 points as Chattanooga beat UNCG 89-61 in the last meeting.
Purdue at Rutgers
NCAAMThe No. 20 Boilermakers ride a three-game win streak into their Big Ten road test against the Scarlet Knights. Purdue has also won three straight meetings. Trey Kaufman-Renn paces the Boilermakers with 17.8 points and 6.3 rebounds per outing.
Oregon at Ohio State
NCAAMNo. 15 Oregon tries to exact a bit of revenge on The Ohio State University in a Big Ten game. The Buckeyes beat the Ducks 41-21 in the College Football Playoff quarterfinals on New Year's Day. The basketball programs haven't met since 1992.
