\n\nCollege Basketball, also known as NCAA Basketball, is the highest level of basketball competition in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) in the United States. College Basketball teams are made up of student-athletes attending institutions of higher education in the United States. It is one of the most popular sports in the country, with some of the most renowned NCAA Basketball teams including Duke, UNC, Kansas, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, Arizona, Syracuse, and Louisville. College Basketball is noted for its competitive intensity and passion that the student-athletes exhibit. \n\nEach NCAA Basketball season consists of a regular season with each team playing approximately 3-4 conferences games and 20-25 games outside of the conference. The season is then capped off with the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament, commonly referred to as the “Big Dance” or the “March Madness”, where 68 teams compete in single-elimination bracket to determine the Division I National Champion. This tournament remains one of the most popular sporting events in the United States and is often the most “bet on” event of the year in the US. \n\nNCAA Basketball has a long and rich history dating back to its first recorded game in 1892 and only getting more popular as the years went on. Some of the big names that have graced the NCAA Basketball courts over the years include: Lew Alcindor (renamed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar once converted to Islam), Bill Walton, Larry Bird, Michael Jordan, Tim Duncan, Magic Johnson, and LeBron James; to name a few. \n\nOverall, college basketball continues to remain one of the most popular sports in the US, with intense rivalries and passion for the sport fueling the culture of the competition. NCAA Basketball season excites fans and players alike every year, as they hope for a sweet victory in the tournament and the chance to take home a National Championship.

Auburn at South Carolina
NCAAMThe No. 2 Tigers take a seven-game win streak into their SEC road test against the Gamecocks. Auburn has won eight straight meetings. Senior forward Johni Broome paces the Tigers with 18.7 points, 11.2 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 2.7 blocks per outing.
Connecticut at Georgetown
NCAAMThe No. 9 Huskies (12-4, 4-1 Big East) look to bounce back against the Hoyas (12-3, 3-1). UConn couldn't make up a 12-point deficit on Jan. 8 and fell 68-66 to Villanova, while Georgetown took its first conference loss Jan. 7 against No. 7 Marquette.
Iowa State at Texas Tech
NCAAMThe No. 3 Cyclones (13-1, 3-0) try to stay perfect in the Big 12 as they run up on the Red Raiders (11-3, 2-1) in Texas. Iowa State earned an 82-74 home victory over Texas Tech last season. The Cyclones are riding a 10-game winning streak.
BYU at TCU
NCAAMThe Cougars (10-4, 1-2 Big 12) vie for their 18th straight victory over the Horned Frogs (8-6, 1-2). TCU last beat BYU in 1997. The Cougars prevailed 87-75 last season in the first meeting since 2011. The Horned Frogs are 8-0 at home in 2024-25.
Florida State at Clemson
NCAAMThe Tigers (12-4, 4-1 ACC) aim to extend their recent dominance of the Seminoles (11-4, 2-2). Clemson won both 2023-24 meetings to push its win streak against Florida State to four games. Chase Hunter (CLEM) averaged 15 points in those two triumphs.

St. John's at Xavier
NCAAMThe Musketeers host the Red Storm. St. John's has won seven of its past eight overall. Xavier is sliding, with losses in four of its last five. Xavier's Dayvion McKnight had 19 points and six assists in an 88-77 home win over St. John's in 2023-24.
Connecticut at Villanova
NCAAMThe No. 9 Huskies (12-3, 4-0 Big East) try to stay perfect on the mainland as they seek vie for a fifth straight victory over the Wildcats (10-5, 3-1). UConn started the season 4-0, went 0-3 in the Maui Invitational and won all its games since.
Ole Miss at Arkansas
NCAAMThe Razorbacks (11-3, 0-1) welcome the SEC rival No. 23 Rebels (12-2, 1-0) to Bud Walton Arena. Ole Miss opened its conference campaign with a 63-51 victory over Georgia. Arkansas saw its six-game win streak snapped, 76-52 at No. 1 Tennessee.
Florida State at Miami
NCAAMThe Hurricanes seek their first win under interim head coach Bill Courtney when they host the Seminoles. Florida State beat Syracuse on Jan. 4 for its first ACC triumph in 2024-25. Miami has lost to Boston College and Virginia Tech in the new year.
Drake at Bradley
NCAAMThe Bulldogs visit the Braves. Drake has dropped games to Illinois-Chicago and Murray State following a 12-0 start. Bradley stands at 4-0 in the Missouri Valley Conference following a fifth straight win Jan. 4. Drake has won four straight meetings.
