\n\nCollege Basketball, also known as NCAA Basketball, is the highest level of basketball competition in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) in the United States. College Basketball teams are made up of student-athletes attending institutions of higher education in the United States. It is one of the most popular sports in the country, with some of the most renowned NCAA Basketball teams including Duke, UNC, Kansas, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, Arizona, Syracuse, and Louisville. College Basketball is noted for its competitive intensity and passion that the student-athletes exhibit. \n\nEach NCAA Basketball season consists of a regular season with each team playing approximately 3-4 conferences games and 20-25 games outside of the conference. The season is then capped off with the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament, commonly referred to as the “Big Dance” or the “March Madness”, where 68 teams compete in single-elimination bracket to determine the Division I National Champion. This tournament remains one of the most popular sporting events in the United States and is often the most “bet on” event of the year in the US. \n\nNCAA Basketball has a long and rich history dating back to its first recorded game in 1892 and only getting more popular as the years went on. Some of the big names that have graced the NCAA Basketball courts over the years include: Lew Alcindor (renamed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar once converted to Islam), Bill Walton, Larry Bird, Michael Jordan, Tim Duncan, Magic Johnson, and LeBron James; to name a few. \n\nOverall, college basketball continues to remain one of the most popular sports in the US, with intense rivalries and passion for the sport fueling the culture of the competition. NCAA Basketball season excites fans and players alike every year, as they hope for a sweet victory in the tournament and the chance to take home a National Championship.

Louisville at Syracuse
NCAAMThe red-hot Cardinals (12-5, 5-1) hit the road for an ACC engagement with the Orange (8-8, 2-3). Louisville has won six straight following an 82-78 victory at Pittsburgh behind Reyne Smith's 25 points. Syracuse boasts a four-game series win streak.
Georgia at Tennessee
NCAAMThe No. 23 Bulldogs (14-2, 2-1 SEC) face the No. 6 Volunteers (15-1, 2-1). Georgia prevailed in nine of its last 10 after victories over ranked programs Kentucky and Oklahoma. Tennessee has won four straight meetings after an 85-79 result in 2023-24.
Kansas at Iowa State
NCAAMThe No. 2 Cyclones (14-1, 4-0 Big 12) play the No. 9 Jayhawks (12-3, 3-1). Iowa State has won 11 in a row after prevailing in a nail-biter at Texas Tech. Joshua Jefferson sent the game to overtime and scored the winning free throws in the 85-84 win.
Clemson at Georgia Tech
NCAAMChase Hunter and the Tigers (13-4, 5-1 ACC) visit the Yellow Jackets (8-9, 2-4). Hunter, a senior guard, averages 17.6 points per game after scoring 25 in a 77-57 victory over Florida State. Georgia Tech has dropped two straight, both on the road.
Texas at Oklahoma
NCAAMThe Sooners and Longhorns take the Red River Rivalry to the hardcourt. Texas has dropped three straight, including against then-No. 2 Auburn and then-No. 1 Tennessee, but it has won seven in a row over Oklahoma. OU has also dropped three in a row.

Connecticut at Georgetown
NCAAMThe No. 9 Huskies (12-4, 4-1 Big East) look to bounce back against the Hoyas (12-3, 3-1). UConn couldn't make up a 12-point deficit on Jan. 8 and fell 68-66 to Villanova, while Georgetown took its first conference loss Jan. 7 against No. 7 Marquette.
Virginia Tech at California
NCAAMThe Hokies (6-9, 1-3 ACC) end a two-game Bay Area stay by facing the Golden Bears (8-7, 1-3). Virginia Tech lost its first conference game in the Pacific time zone, falling 70-59 to Stanford on Jan. 8, while California defeated Virginia 75-61.
Notre Dame at Duke
NCAAMThe No. 4 Blue Devils (13-2, 5-0 ACC) host the Fighting Irish (7-8, 1-3). Duke has won nine in a row overall, and is 11-1 versus Notre Dame since 2016-17 after winning a pair last season by a combined 26 points. The Irish have dropped three straight.
Michigan State at Northwestern
NCAAMNo. 16 Michigan State (13-2, 4-0 Big Ten) seeks a ninth straight win when it visits Northwestern (10-5, 1-3). The Wildcats' three-game win streak against the Spartans was snapped last season when Michigan State grinded out a 53-49 victory.
Indiana at Iowa
NCAAMThe Hoosiers (13-3, 4-1 Big Ten) bring a five-game win streak into a date with the Hawkeyes (11-4, 2-2). Former Arizona center Oumar Ballo averaged 24 points and 10.5 rebounds in Indiana's last two victories. Iowa is 9-1 at home this season.
UCLA at Rutgers
NCAAMThe Bruins complete a swing on the East Coast by squaring off against the Scarlet Knights. Rutgers' dynamic freshman duo of Dylan Harper and Ace Bailey are combining to score 39 points per game. The Knights are 7-2 at Jersey Mike's Arena this season.
Minnesota at Maryland
NCAAMThe Golden Gophers face the Terrapins in Big Ten action. Last season, Minnesota snapped a 10-game slide against Maryland with a 65-62 victory. Dawson Garcia (MINN) filled the statsheet with 11 points, six rebounds, three steals and two blocks.
