\n\nCollege Basketball, also known as NCAA Basketball, is the highest level of basketball competition in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) in the United States. College Basketball teams are made up of student-athletes attending institutions of higher education in the United States. It is one of the most popular sports in the country, with some of the most renowned NCAA Basketball teams including Duke, UNC, Kansas, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, Arizona, Syracuse, and Louisville. College Basketball is noted for its competitive intensity and passion that the student-athletes exhibit. \n\nEach NCAA Basketball season consists of a regular season with each team playing approximately 3-4 conferences games and 20-25 games outside of the conference. The season is then capped off with the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament, commonly referred to as the “Big Dance” or the “March Madness”, where 68 teams compete in single-elimination bracket to determine the Division I National Champion. This tournament remains one of the most popular sporting events in the United States and is often the most “bet on” event of the year in the US. \n\nNCAA Basketball has a long and rich history dating back to its first recorded game in 1892 and only getting more popular as the years went on. Some of the big names that have graced the NCAA Basketball courts over the years include: Lew Alcindor (renamed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar once converted to Islam), Bill Walton, Larry Bird, Michael Jordan, Tim Duncan, Magic Johnson, and LeBron James; to name a few. \n\nOverall, college basketball continues to remain one of the most popular sports in the US, with intense rivalries and passion for the sport fueling the culture of the competition. NCAA Basketball season excites fans and players alike every year, as they hope for a sweet victory in the tournament and the chance to take home a National Championship.

The No. 1 Tigers and No. 15 Bulldogs continue their SEC campaigns with a showdown at Neville Arena. Auburn prevailed in the last meeting, 73-66 in the 2024 SEC Tournament semifinals, before claiming the conference title. The Tigers are 7-0 at home.

Louisville at Syracuse

The red-hot Cardinals (12-5, 5-1) hit the road for an ACC engagement with the Orange (8-8, 2-3). Louisville has won six straight following an 82-78 victory at Pittsburgh behind Reyne Smith's 25 points. Syracuse boasts a four-game series win streak.

Ole Miss at Alabama

The No. 21 Rebels roll with the No. 4 Crimson Tide. Alabama is 7-0 at home in 2024-25, and has won seven in a row versus Ole Miss. Bama's Mark Sears is averaging 19.9 points per game at home this season, and 21 ppg in his career facing Ole Miss.

Marquette at DePaul

The No. 7 Golden Eagles soar into this battle with the Blue Demons. Marquette has won five straight games to begin its Big East slate. Kam Jones (MARQ) is averaging 18.8 points and 6.6 assists during the streak. DePaul tries to snap a four-game skid.
