\n\nCollege Basketball, also known as NCAA Basketball, is the highest level of basketball competition in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) in the United States. College Basketball teams are made up of student-athletes attending institutions of higher education in the United States. It is one of the most popular sports in the country, with some of the most renowned NCAA Basketball teams including Duke, UNC, Kansas, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, Arizona, Syracuse, and Louisville. College Basketball is noted for its competitive intensity and passion that the student-athletes exhibit. \n\nEach NCAA Basketball season consists of a regular season with each team playing approximately 3-4 conferences games and 20-25 games outside of the conference. The season is then capped off with the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament, commonly referred to as the “Big Dance” or the “March Madness”, where 68 teams compete in single-elimination bracket to determine the Division I National Champion. This tournament remains one of the most popular sporting events in the United States and is often the most “bet on” event of the year in the US. \n\nNCAA Basketball has a long and rich history dating back to its first recorded game in 1892 and only getting more popular as the years went on. Some of the big names that have graced the NCAA Basketball courts over the years include: Lew Alcindor (renamed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar once converted to Islam), Bill Walton, Larry Bird, Michael Jordan, Tim Duncan, Magic Johnson, and LeBron James; to name a few. \n\nOverall, college basketball continues to remain one of the most popular sports in the US, with intense rivalries and passion for the sport fueling the culture of the competition. NCAA Basketball season excites fans and players alike every year, as they hope for a sweet victory in the tournament and the chance to take home a National Championship.

VCU at Saint Joseph's

The Rams (13-4, 3-1 A-10) aim to extend their recent dominance of the Hawks (11-6, 2-2). VCU has won seven straight against Saint Joseph's, including a 66-60 win in the Atlantic 10 Tournament semifinal last season thanks to Max Shulga's 25 points.

Providence at Villanova

The Wildcats try to end a two-game slide in Big East play when they host the Friars. Villanova fell to 4-3 in the conference with road losses to St. John's and Xavier. Providence aims to avenge a 2023-24 season-series sweep at the hands of Villanova.

Indiana at Ohio State

Iowa at UCLA

The Hawkeyes complete their two-game stay in Los Angeles when they face the Bruins. UCLA looks for some home cooking to help a four-game slide that saw the Bruins fall to 11-6 on the season. Tyler Bilodeau leads UCLA with 14.4 points per game.

Providence at Creighton

The Friars head for the Cornhusker State to battle the Bluejays. This is a rematch of a Big East Tournament quarterfinal last season, when Providence knocked off Creighton 83-78. Jayden Pierre had 15 points and seven assists in the Friars' win.

Clemson at Georgia Tech

Chase Hunter and the Tigers (13-4, 5-1 ACC) visit the Yellow Jackets (8-9, 2-4). Hunter, a senior guard, averages 17.6 points per game after scoring 25 in a 77-57 victory over Florida State. Georgia Tech has dropped two straight, both on the road.

The Red Raiders travel to play the Wildcats. Texas Tech is 2-0 in true road games after beating two of the newest Big 12 members in Utah and BYU. Last season, Texas Tech erased a late eight-point deficit to take down Kansas State 60-59.
