\n\nCollege Basketball, also known as NCAA Basketball, is the highest level of basketball competition in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) in the United States. College Basketball teams are made up of student-athletes attending institutions of higher education in the United States. It is one of the most popular sports in the country, with some of the most renowned NCAA Basketball teams including Duke, UNC, Kansas, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, Arizona, Syracuse, and Louisville. College Basketball is noted for its competitive intensity and passion that the student-athletes exhibit. \n\nEach NCAA Basketball season consists of a regular season with each team playing approximately 3-4 conferences games and 20-25 games outside of the conference. The season is then capped off with the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament, commonly referred to as the “Big Dance” or the “March Madness”, where 68 teams compete in single-elimination bracket to determine the Division I National Champion. This tournament remains one of the most popular sporting events in the United States and is often the most “bet on” event of the year in the US. \n\nNCAA Basketball has a long and rich history dating back to its first recorded game in 1892 and only getting more popular as the years went on. Some of the big names that have graced the NCAA Basketball courts over the years include: Lew Alcindor (renamed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar once converted to Islam), Bill Walton, Larry Bird, Michael Jordan, Tim Duncan, Magic Johnson, and LeBron James; to name a few. \n\nOverall, college basketball continues to remain one of the most popular sports in the US, with intense rivalries and passion for the sport fueling the culture of the competition. NCAA Basketball season excites fans and players alike every year, as they hope for a sweet victory in the tournament and the chance to take home a National Championship.

Georgetown at Villanova
NCAAMThe Wildcats (12-7, 5-3 Big East) host the Hoyas (12-6, 3-4). Villanova ended a two-game skid by topping Providence 75-73 on Jan. 17, while Georgetown gave DePaul its first conference win since the 2023 Big East Tournament's first round, 73-68.
Alabama at Kentucky
NCAAMSEC heavyweights in the No. 4 Crimson Tide (14-3, 3-1) and No. 8 Wildcats (14-3, 3-1) trade blows in the Bluegrass State. Kentucky comes off victories over Top 25 teams Mississippi State and Texas A&M. The 'Cats toppled the Tide 117-95 last season.
Mississippi State at Tennessee
NCAAMThe No. 6 Volunteers try to stay perfect at home as they brace for the No. 14 Bulldogs. Mississippi State has won the last two meetings. Tennessee improved to 10-0 at Thompson-Boling Arena with a 74-56 decision over then-No. 23 Georgia on Jan. 15.
Vanderbilt at Alabama
NCAAMThe No. 4 Crimson Tide (15-3, 4-1 SEC) brace for the upset-minded Commodores (15-3, 3-2). Vanderbilt surprised then-No. 6 Tennessee 76-75 on Jan. 18, while Alabama outscored then-No. 8 Kentucky 102-97 behind Mark Sears' 24 points and nine assists.
Boston College at Virginia
NCAAMThe Cavaliers try to continue their success against the Eagles in an ACC affair. Virginia has won two consecutive meetings, and 12 of the last 14. The Cavaliers also boast an eight-game win streak against the Eagles at John Paul Jones Arena.
Texas Tech at Cincinnati
NCAAMThe Red Raiders run into the Bearcats. Both schools have won their past two games. Simas Lukosius scored a team-high 16 points to help Cincinnati take down Texas Tech 75-72 on Feb. 3, 2024. Lukosius paces Cincy with 12.4 points per game this season.
Butler at Connecticut
NCAAMThe Bulldogs run with the No. 19 Huskies. Butler prevailed over Seton Hall 82-77 on Jan. 15, ending a nine-game drought. Bulldogs forward Pierre Brooks II had 19 points in the victory. UConn has dropped two its past three after losing to Creighton.

Iowa at UCLA
NCAAMThe Hawkeyes complete their two-game stay in Los Angeles when they face the Bruins. UCLA looks for some home cooking to help a four-game slide that saw the Bruins fall to 11-6 on the season. Tyler Bilodeau leads UCLA with 14.4 points per game.
Indiana at Ohio State
NCAAMThe Hoosiers link up with the Buckeyes. Indiana has won four of its past five versus Ohio State, sweeping two games in 2023-24. Malian center Oumar Ballo (IU) averaged 14.3 points and 12.3 rebounds across three previous road games this season.
Creighton at Connecticut
NCAAMThe No. 14 Huskies (13-4, 5-1 Big East) host Ryan Kalkbrenner and the Bluejays (11-6, 4-2). The 7-foot-1 Kalkbrenner, averaging 17.8 points and 8.3 rebounds per outing, blocked six shots in each of the last two games, and 17 over the past three wins.
Houston at UCF
NCAAMThe Knights host the No. 10 Cougars. Houston is 9-0 versus UCF since 2019-20, and enters this contest on a nine-game winning streak overall. UCF guards Keyshawn Hall, Darius Johnson and Jordan Ivy-Curry combine to average 46.9 points per game.
Kansas State at Kansas
NCAAMThe No. 9 Jayhawks host the Wildcats for a Big 12 affair involving Sunflower State rivals. Kansas has won 17 consecutive meetings at Allen Fieldhouse. Kansas State last prevailed in Lawrence, Kan., in 2006. The Jayhawks are 8-1 at home this season.
Wake Forest at Virginia Tech
NCAAMACC rivals in the Demon Deacons and Hokies continue a series that began in 1912. Wake Forest has won two straight on the road. The schools split a pair last season. Deacons guard Hunter Sallis totaled 31 points and 14 rebounds in those meetings.
