NCAAM
College Basketball, also known as NCAA Basketball, is the highest level of basketball competition in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) in the United States. College Basketball teams are made up of student-athletes attending institutions of higher education in the United States. It is one of the most popular sports in the country, with some of the most renowned NCAA Basketball teams including Duke, UNC, Kansas, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, Arizona, Syracuse, and Louisville. College Basketball is noted for its competitive intensity and passion that the student-athletes exhibit. Each NCAA Basketball season consists of a regular season with each team playing approximately 3-4 conferences games and 20-25 games outside of the conference. The season is then capped off with the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament, commonly referred to as the “Big Dance” or the “March Madness”, where 68 teams compete in single-elimination bracket to determine the Division I National Champion. This tournament remains one of the most popular sporting events in the United States and is often the most “bet on” event of the year in the US. NCAA Basketball has a long and rich history dating back to its first recorded game in 1892 and only getting more popular as the years went on. Some of the big names that have graced the NCAA Basketball courts over the years include: Lew Alcindor (renamed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar once converted to Islam), Bill Walton, Larry Bird, Michael Jordan, Tim Duncan, Magic Johnson, and LeBron James; to name a few. Overall, college basketball continues to remain one of the most popular sports in the US, with intense rivalries and passion for the sport fueling the culture of the competition. NCAA Basketball season excites fans and players alike every year, as they hope for a sweet victory in the tournament and the chance to take home a National Championship.

Tennessee vs Florida
NCAAMThe No. 2 Gators (29-4) seek atonement in the SEC Tournament final against the No. 4 Volunteers (27-6). Florida reached the 2024 title game but fell 86-67 to Auburn, leaving it without a crown since 2014. The teams split their regular-season series.
Jacksonville State at Georgia Tech
NCAAMThe No. 4 Yellow Jackets (17-16) play the Gamecocks (22-12) in an NIT first-round tilt. Jacksonville State reached the Conference USA title game in its second season in the league. Georgia Tech fell to eventual ACC champ Duke in the quarterfinals.
Kent State at St. Bonaventure
NCAAMThe NIT gets underway with the No. 3 Bonnies hosting the Golden Flashes. Kent State made a run to the quarterfinals the last time it competed in the NIT in 2011. St. Bonaventure won the tournament in 1977, and went to the semifinals in 2022.
Wichita State at Oklahoma State
NCAAMThe No. 4 seed Cowboys renew acquaintances with the Shockers in the NIT's opening round. Wichita State has won three of the last five meetings, but Oklahoma State leads the series 32-11 after a 59-49 victory in 2022. The Shockers won the 2011 NIT.
Saint Louis at Arkansas State
NCAAMThe No. 3 Red Wolves and Billikens meet in the NIT's first round. Saint Louis had won five of six before bowing out against Loyola Chicago in the Atlantic 10 quarterfinals. Arkansas State's five-game streak was ended by Troy in the Sun Belt final.
Cal State Northridge at Stanford
NCAAMThe No. 2 seed Cardinal welcome the Matadors to the Farm for an NIT first-round game. Stanford has won all seven meetings after an 88-79 victory in 2023. The Cardinal, three-time NIT champions, are 20-13, and went 11-9 in their first ACC season.
UC Riverside at Santa Clara
NCAAMThe No. 2 Broncos and the Highlanders meet in the NIT's first round. Santa Clara thumped UC Riverside 96-54 on Nov. 19, 2024. Santa Clara appeared in the 2022 and 2023 NITs, losing its opener each time. UC Riverside competes in its first NIT.
Florida Atlantic vs Dayton
NCAAMThe Flyers, despite being a No. 1 seed, visit the Owls for an NIT first-round game. UD Arena is serving as host of the NCAA Tournament First Four games. Dayton has won three NITs, the last in 2010. Florida Atlantic reached the 2023 NCAA Final Four.

Maine at Bryant
NCAAMThe No. 1 seed Bulldogs tip off with the No. 3 Black Bears in the 2025 America East Tournament championship game. Bryant has won four straight meetings, including a pair this season by a combined 34 points. Maine seeks its first NCAA Tournament bid.
Princeton vs Yale
NCAAMThe No. 1 Bulldogs brace for the No. 4 Tigers in the Ivy League Tournament semifinals. Defending champion Yale swept a pair from Princeton this season by a combined 34 points. Bulldogs leading scorer John Poulakidas totaled 34 points in those games.
Connecticut vs Creighton
NCAAMThe Huskies battle the Bluejays in the Big East Tournament semifinals. No. 3 seed UConn pulled away from Villanova 73-56 in the quarterfinals. No. 2 Creighton needed two overtimes, and Ryan Kalkbrenner's 32 points, to dispatch DePaul 85-81.
Wisconsin vs Michigan State
NCAAMThe No. 1 Spartans and No. 5 Badgers face off in a Big Ten Tournament semifinal. Wisconsin star John Tonje averaged 22 points in early-round wins over Northwestern and UCLA. Jaden Akins' 19 points led the Spartans past the Badgers 71-62 on March 2.
Loyola-Chicago vs VCU
NCAAMThe No. 4 Ramblers face the No. 1 Rams in the Atlantic 10 Tournament semifinals. VCU seeks its fourth appearance in the title game in five years. VCU thrashed Loyola Chicago 84-65 on Jan. 4. Both programs have won eight of their last nine overall.
South Carolina State vs Norfolk State
NCAAMThe No. 1 Spartans face the No. 2 Bulldogs in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Tournament finals. Omar Croskey scored a career-high 30 points to help South Carolina State win its semifinal matchup. Norfolk State chases a third title in five years.
Dartmouth vs Cornell
NCAAMThe No. 2 seed Big Red meet the No. 3 Big Green in a substantial Ivy League Tournament semifinal. Dartmouth begins a quest for its first NCAA Tournament bid since 1959, the longest active drought. The home side won both regular-season meetings.
Tulane vs Memphis
NCAAMThe No. 1 Tigers and No. 4 Green Wave play an American Athletic Conference Tournament semifinal. Tulane seeks its first title game since the 1992 Metro Conference Tournament final. Memphis has won 14 of its past 15, including a victory over Tulane.
