College Basketball, also known as NCAA Basketball, is the highest level of basketball competition in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) in the United States. College Basketball teams are made up of student-athletes attending institutions of higher education in the United States. It is one of the most popular sports in the country, with some of the most renowned NCAA Basketball teams including Duke, UNC, Kansas, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, Arizona, Syracuse, and Louisville. College Basketball is noted for its competitive intensity and passion that the student-athletes exhibit. Each NCAA Basketball season consists of a regular season with each team playing approximately 3-4 conferences games and 20-25 games outside of the conference. The season is then capped off with the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament, commonly referred to as the “Big Dance” or the “March Madness”, where 68 teams compete in single-elimination bracket to determine the Division I National Champion. This tournament remains one of the most popular sporting events in the United States and is often the most “bet on” event of the year in the US. NCAA Basketball has a long and rich history dating back to its first recorded game in 1892 and only getting more popular as the years went on. Some of the big names that have graced the NCAA Basketball courts over the years include: Lew Alcindor (renamed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar once converted to Islam), Bill Walton, Larry Bird, Michael Jordan, Tim Duncan, Magic Johnson, and LeBron James; to name a few. Overall, college basketball continues to remain one of the most popular sports in the US, with intense rivalries and passion for the sport fueling the culture of the competition. NCAA Basketball season excites fans and players alike every year, as they hope for a sweet victory in the tournament and the chance to take home a National Championship.

Oregon vs Michigan State

The No. 8 Ducks challenge the No. 1 Spartans in the Big Ten Tournament quarterfinals. Freshman Jase Richardson's 29 points as Michigan State took down Oregon 86-74 on Feb. 8, the Ducks' last loss. Oregon dispatched Indiana 72-59 in the second round.

Ole Miss vs Auburn

The No. 1 Tigers begin their SEC Tournament in the quarterfinals against the No. 8 Rebels. Auburn ended the season with losses to Texas A&M and Alabama. Ole Miss senior Sean Pedulla's 3-pointer with 1.3 seconds left sunk Arkansas in the second round.

Wichita State vs Memphis

The No. 1 seed Tigers (26-5) take on the No. 8 Shockers (19-13) in the American Athletic Conference Tournament quarterfinals. Corey Washington and Bijan Cortes combined for 41 points as Wichita State beat South Florida 73-68 in the second round.

Wisconsin vs UCLA

The No. 4 seed Bruins battle the No. 5 Badgers in the Big Ten Tournament quarterfinals. John Tonje, an all-Big Ten first-team selection, recorded 18 points and seven rebounds in Wisconsin's 80-73 victory over Northwestern in the second round.

Duke at North Carolina

No. 2 Duke (27-3, 18-1 ACC) plays rival North Carolina (20-11, 13-6). The Blue Devils have won seven in a row, and beat the Tar Heels on Feb. 1. UNC has won its past six. Duke has already clinched at least a share of the regular-season ACC title.

Pittsburgh vs Notre Dame

The ACC Tournament begins with the No. 12 seed Fighting Irish taking on the No. 13 Panthers. The winner meets No. 5 North Carolina in the second round. Notre Dame closed the regular season with a 112-110 victory over California in four overtimes.

California vs Virginia Tech

The No. 10 seed Hokies meet the No. 15 Golden Bears in the ACC Tournament's first round. The winner plays Stanford. California wrapped up its regular season with a 112-110 loss to Notre Dame in four overtimes. Virginia Tech beat Cal 71-68 in January.

St. Francis (Pa.) at Central Connecticut State

The No. 1 Blue Devils (25-6) take on the No. 3 Red Flash (15-17) in the Northeast Conference Tournament final. Central Connecticut has won 14 straight games, and swept the regular-season set with St. Francis (Pa.). The Flash have won five in a row.

Northwestern State vs McNeese State

The No. 4 Demons play the No. 1 Cowboys in a Southland Conference Tournament semifinal. Northwestern State has won its past five after beating Texas A&M-CC in the quarters. Defending champ McNeese went 19-1 in-conference, and has won nine in a row.

Delaware vs UNC-Wilmington

The No. 12 Blue Hens try to cap a Cinderella run versus the No. 2 Seahawks in the Coastal Athletic Association final. Delaware, which joins Conference USA in 2025-26, seeks a third CAA title. UNC Wilmington ousted two-time defending champ Charleston.

Syracuse vs Florida State

The No. 11 seed Seminoles square off against the No. 14 Orange in an ACC Tournament first-round game. Each team won its regular-season finale. Florida State made it two straight over Syracuse after a 90-74 verdict in the Sunshine State in January.

Albany (N.Y.) at Bryant

The No. 1 seed Bulldogs go against the No. 4 Great Danes in the America East Tournament semifinals. The sides split the season series. Bryant owns a four-game win streak. Bulldogs leading scorer Rafael Pinzon is averaging 20.8 points during the run.
