College Basketball, also known as NCAA Basketball, is the highest level of basketball competition in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) in the United States. College Basketball teams are made up of student-athletes attending institutions of higher education in the United States. It is one of the most popular sports in the country, with some of the most renowned NCAA Basketball teams including Duke, UNC, Kansas, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, Arizona, Syracuse, and Louisville. College Basketball is noted for its competitive intensity and passion that the student-athletes exhibit. Each NCAA Basketball season consists of a regular season with each team playing approximately 3-4 conferences games and 20-25 games outside of the conference. The season is then capped off with the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament, commonly referred to as the “Big Dance” or the “March Madness”, where 68 teams compete in single-elimination bracket to determine the Division I National Champion. This tournament remains one of the most popular sporting events in the United States and is often the most “bet on” event of the year in the US. NCAA Basketball has a long and rich history dating back to its first recorded game in 1892 and only getting more popular as the years went on. Some of the big names that have graced the NCAA Basketball courts over the years include: Lew Alcindor (renamed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar once converted to Islam), Bill Walton, Larry Bird, Michael Jordan, Tim Duncan, Magic Johnson, and LeBron James; to name a few. Overall, college basketball continues to remain one of the most popular sports in the US, with intense rivalries and passion for the sport fueling the culture of the competition. NCAA Basketball season excites fans and players alike every year, as they hope for a sweet victory in the tournament and the chance to take home a National Championship.

NCAAMThe No. 3 Cyclones (7-1) resume their rivalry with the Hawkeyes (7-2). Iowa leads this installment of the Cy-Hawk Series 48-29 after Iowa State prevailed 90-65 in Ames last season. The Cyclones haven't been ranked this high since the 1956-57 season.
Indiana at Nebraska
NCAAMThe Hoosiers (8-2, 1-0 Big Ten) battle the Cornhuskers (6-2, 0-1). Indiana has won fourth straight including its conference opener against Minnesota. Nebraska won all three meetings with Indiana last season, including a Big Ten quarterfinal match.
Bethune-Cookman at Virginia
NCAAMThe Wildcats (2-6) continue a nine-game road swing when they face the Cavaliers (5-4). Virginia is 4-0 on home court this season. Bethune-Cookman is led by Brayon Freeman, playing for his fourth program since 2021 and averaging 16.5 points per game.
Memphis at Clemson
NCAAMMemphis plays No. 16 Clemson in a battle of Tigers at the Littlejohn Coliseum. Clemson senior Ian Schieffelin is the nation's leading rebounder at 12.5 per game. Memphis guard PJ Haggerty is among the top scorers in D-I, averaging 23 points per game.
Texas A&M vs Purdue
NCAAMThe No. 17 Aggies face the No. 11 Boilermakers in the Indy Classic. Texas A&M's four-game run includes two wins at the Players Era Festival, and a 72-67 decision over Texas Tech at the Coast-to-Coast Challenge. Purdue is 2-0 all-time at the Classic.

NCAAMFreshman sensation Cooper Flagg's No. 9 Blue Devils (6-2, 0-0) visit the KCF Yum! Center for an ACC opener versus the Cardinals (5-3, 0-0). Flagg, a 6-foot-9 guard, goes for 16.6 points and 8.6 rebounds per game. Duke has won five straight meetings.
North Dakota State at Butler
NCAAMThe Bison roll into this contest with the Bulldogs. North Dakota State won a fourth straight game Dec. 7 when it never trailed in a win over Northern Colorado. Bison forward Jacksen Moni is averaging 24 points per game across his past three outings.
Incarnate Word at Duke
NCAAMThe Cardinals fly into Cameron Indoor Stadium for a tough test against the No. 4 Blue Devils. This is the first time Incarnate Word has faced an ACC school. Davion Bailey has averaged 21.3 pointsover the last three outings for the Cardinals.
Morgan State at Xavier
NCAAMThe Musketeers (7-2) host the Bears (5-7) at the Cintas Center. After starting 6-0, Xavier has lost two of its last three contests. Junior guard Ryan Conwell leads the Musketeers with 16.6 points per game on 44.2% shooting from 3-point range.
Providence at DePaul
NCAAMThe Friars link up with the Blue Demons in a Big East opener. Providence has won six straight versus DePaul, winning two games in 2023-24 by a combined 49 points. DePaul has not played since taking its first loss in 2024-25, on Dec. 4 at Texas Tech.
