College Basketball, also known as NCAA Basketball, is the highest level of basketball competition in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) in the United States. College Basketball teams are made up of student-athletes attending institutions of higher education in the United States. It is one of the most popular sports in the country, with some of the most renowned NCAA Basketball teams including Duke, UNC, Kansas, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, Arizona, Syracuse, and Louisville. College Basketball is noted for its competitive intensity and passion that the student-athletes exhibit. Each NCAA Basketball season consists of a regular season with each team playing approximately 3-4 conferences games and 20-25 games outside of the conference. The season is then capped off with the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament, commonly referred to as the “Big Dance” or the “March Madness”, where 68 teams compete in single-elimination bracket to determine the Division I National Champion. This tournament remains one of the most popular sporting events in the United States and is often the most “bet on” event of the year in the US. NCAA Basketball has a long and rich history dating back to its first recorded game in 1892 and only getting more popular as the years went on. Some of the big names that have graced the NCAA Basketball courts over the years include: Lew Alcindor (renamed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar once converted to Islam), Bill Walton, Larry Bird, Michael Jordan, Tim Duncan, Magic Johnson, and LeBron James; to name a few. Overall, college basketball continues to remain one of the most popular sports in the US, with intense rivalries and passion for the sport fueling the culture of the competition. NCAA Basketball season excites fans and players alike every year, as they hope for a sweet victory in the tournament and the chance to take home a National Championship.

Wisconsin vs Michigan

The No. 3 Wolverines and No. 5 Badgers battle in the Big Ten Tournament championship game. John Tonje's incredible tournament run continued with 32 points in Wisconsin's semifinal upset of top-seed Michigan State, while Michigan eliminated Maryland.

Tennessee vs Florida

The No. 2 Gators (29-4) seek atonement in the SEC Tournament final against the No. 4 Volunteers (27-6). Florida reached the 2024 title game but fell 86-67 to Auburn, leaving it without a crown since 2014. The teams split their regular-season series.

Creighton vs St. John's

The No. 1 Red Storm look for history when they face the No. 2 Bluejays in the Big East Tournament final. St. John's seeks its first tournament crown since Bootsy Thornton led the 2000 team to glory. Creighton is 0-4 in previous Big East final trips.

Louisville vs Duke

The No. 1 Blue Devils seek their 23rd ACC Tournament crown in the final against the No. 2 Cardinals. By contrast, Louisville is in its first ACC title game. Duke knocked out 18-time champ North Carolina in the semifinals without star Cooper Flagg.

Colorado vs Houston

No. 16 Colorado aims to continue its Cinderella Big 12 Tournament run when it faces No. 1 Houston in the quarterfinals. After going 3-17 in the regular season, the Buffaloes stunned No. 9 TCU and No. 8 West Virginia to set up a date with the Cougars.

Texas vs Texas A&M

A Lone Star State duel in the SEC Tournament's second round sees No. 13 Texas face No. 5 Texas A&M. On Jan. 4, the Aggies drubbed the Longhorns by 20 points in the rivals' first match since 2019, but Texas squeezed a one-point win three weeks later.
