\n\nCollege Basketball, also known as NCAA Basketball, is the highest level of basketball competition in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) in the United States. College Basketball teams are made up of student-athletes attending institutions of higher education in the United States. It is one of the most popular sports in the country, with some of the most renowned NCAA Basketball teams including Duke, UNC, Kansas, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, Arizona, Syracuse, and Louisville. College Basketball is noted for its competitive intensity and passion that the student-athletes exhibit. \n\nEach NCAA Basketball season consists of a regular season with each team playing approximately 3-4 conferences games and 20-25 games outside of the conference. The season is then capped off with the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament, commonly referred to as the “Big Dance” or the “March Madness”, where 68 teams compete in single-elimination bracket to determine the Division I National Champion. This tournament remains one of the most popular sporting events in the United States and is often the most “bet on” event of the year in the US. \n\nNCAA Basketball has a long and rich history dating back to its first recorded game in 1892 and only getting more popular as the years went on. Some of the big names that have graced the NCAA Basketball courts over the years include: Lew Alcindor (renamed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar once converted to Islam), Bill Walton, Larry Bird, Michael Jordan, Tim Duncan, Magic Johnson, and LeBron James; to name a few. \n\nOverall, college basketball continues to remain one of the most popular sports in the US, with intense rivalries and passion for the sport fueling the culture of the competition. NCAA Basketball season excites fans and players alike every year, as they hope for a sweet victory in the tournament and the chance to take home a National Championship.

Pittsburgh at Duke

The No. 4 Blue Devils (12-2, 4-0) host the Panthers (12-2, 3-0) for an ACC contest. Last season, Pittsburgh scored just its third win in 14 tries against Duke since joining the ACC. Duke has won eight in a row, while Pitt has claimed five straight.

Tennessee at Florida

The No. 8 Gators tip off against the No. 1 Volunteers. Florida dropped its conference opener, and first game of 2024-25, 106-100 to then-No. 10 Kentucky on Jan. 4. Tennessee remained the only unbeaten squad by waxing Arkansas 76-52 that same day.

Kentucky at Georgia

The Bulldogs clash with the No. 6 Wildcats. Kentucky comes off a statement victory, cracking 100 points for the fourth time this season as it took down then-No. 6 Florida. Georgia had a seven-game run disrupted by a loss to then-No. 24 Ole Miss.

Georgia Tech at Syracuse

The streaking Yellow Jackets (8-7, 2-2 ACC) visit the Orange (6-8, 0-3). Georgia Tech has triumphed in three straight contests, including conference wins over Notre Dame and Boston College. Syracuse is 4-3 at home against Georgia Tech since 2014.

Clemson at Louisville

Win streaks collide when the Cardinals (10-5, 3-1 ACC) clash with the Tigers (12-3, 4-0). Clemson's run stands at three games, while Louisville has won four in a row. The Tigers are 4-0 in conference action, winning each game by double digits.

Georgetown at Marquette

The Hoyas fly with the No. 7 Golden Eagles. Marquette has won four in a row, helping it start 4-0 in the Big East. Georgetown, 3-0 in league play, has won five straight. In 2023-24, Marquette won two games versus Georgetown by a combined 64 points.

Auburn at Texas

The No. 2 Tigers (13-1, 1-0 SEC) storm into the Moody Center for a match with the Longhorns (11-3, 0-1). Auburn extended its win streak to six in a row by topping Missouri on Jan. 4, while Texas dropped its first SEC contest, 80-60 to Texas A&M.

Louisville at Virginia

Louisville heads back on the road to play Virginia. The Cavaliers swept the Cardinals in 2023-24, running their ACC series win streak to nine games. Junior Virginia guard Isaac McKneely totaled 27 points over two games versus Louisville last season.

San Diego State at Boise State

The Aztecs (8-3, 1-1) try to bounce back as they visit the Mountain West foe Broncos (11-3, 3-0). Boise State has won six of the last seven meetings. San Diego State dropped out of the Top 25 with a 67-66 setback against Utah State on Dec. 28.

Kansas State at TCU

The Wildcats (7-5, 1-0) surge into their Big 12 game against the Horned Frogs (7-5, 0-1). Kansas State comes off a 70-67 win over No. 16 Cincinnati that snapped a three-game slide. Coleman Hawkins (KSU) had 20 points and 10 rebounds in that contest.

Syracuse at Florida State
