\n\nCollege Basketball, also known as NCAA Basketball, is the highest level of basketball competition in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) in the United States. College Basketball teams are made up of student-athletes attending institutions of higher education in the United States. It is one of the most popular sports in the country, with some of the most renowned NCAA Basketball teams including Duke, UNC, Kansas, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, Arizona, Syracuse, and Louisville. College Basketball is noted for its competitive intensity and passion that the student-athletes exhibit. \n\nEach NCAA Basketball season consists of a regular season with each team playing approximately 3-4 conferences games and 20-25 games outside of the conference. The season is then capped off with the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament, commonly referred to as the “Big Dance” or the “March Madness”, where 68 teams compete in single-elimination bracket to determine the Division I National Champion. This tournament remains one of the most popular sporting events in the United States and is often the most “bet on” event of the year in the US. \n\nNCAA Basketball has a long and rich history dating back to its first recorded game in 1892 and only getting more popular as the years went on. Some of the big names that have graced the NCAA Basketball courts over the years include: Lew Alcindor (renamed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar once converted to Islam), Bill Walton, Larry Bird, Michael Jordan, Tim Duncan, Magic Johnson, and LeBron James; to name a few. \n\nOverall, college basketball continues to remain one of the most popular sports in the US, with intense rivalries and passion for the sport fueling the culture of the competition. NCAA Basketball season excites fans and players alike every year, as they hope for a sweet victory in the tournament and the chance to take home a National Championship.

Kentucky at Georgia

The Bulldogs clash with the No. 6 Wildcats. Kentucky comes off a statement victory, cracking 100 points for the fourth time this season as it took down then-No. 6 Florida. Georgia had a seven-game run disrupted by a loss to then-No. 24 Ole Miss.

LSU at Missouri

Two squads of Tigers seek their first conference win of the season as Missouri (11-3, 0-1 SEC) hosts LSU (11-3, 0-1). LSU ended a two-game slide against Mizzou last season as Tyrell Ward's 14 points off the bench helped his side to an 84-80 victory.

The No. 9 Huskies (12-3, 4-0 Big East) try to stay perfect on the mainland as they seek vie for a fifth straight victory over the Wildcats (10-5, 3-1). UConn started the season 4-0, went 0-3 in the Maui Invitational and won all its games since.

Ole Miss at Arkansas

The Razorbacks (11-3, 0-1) welcome the SEC rival No. 23 Rebels (12-2, 1-0) to Bud Walton Arena. Ole Miss opened its conference campaign with a 63-51 victory over Georgia. Arkansas saw its six-game win streak snapped, 76-52 at No. 1 Tennessee.

Alabama at South Carolina

The Gamecocks reset for a tough stretch, starting with the No. 5 Crimson Tide. Alabama seeks a sixth straight victory overall, and 10th straight versus South Carolina. Bama's Mark Sears went off for 31 points during a 74-47 thrashing on Jan. 9, 2024.
