NCAAM
College Basketball, also known as NCAA Basketball, is the highest level of basketball competition in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) in the United States. College Basketball teams are made up of student-athletes attending institutions of higher education in the United States. It is one of the most popular sports in the country, with some of the most renowned NCAA Basketball teams including Duke, UNC, Kansas, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, Arizona, Syracuse, and Louisville. College Basketball is noted for its competitive intensity and passion that the student-athletes exhibit. Each NCAA Basketball season consists of a regular season with each team playing approximately 3-4 conferences games and 20-25 games outside of the conference. The season is then capped off with the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament, commonly referred to as the “Big Dance” or the “March Madness”, where 68 teams compete in single-elimination bracket to determine the Division I National Champion. This tournament remains one of the most popular sporting events in the United States and is often the most “bet on” event of the year in the US. NCAA Basketball has a long and rich history dating back to its first recorded game in 1892 and only getting more popular as the years went on. Some of the big names that have graced the NCAA Basketball courts over the years include: Lew Alcindor (renamed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar once converted to Islam), Bill Walton, Larry Bird, Michael Jordan, Tim Duncan, Magic Johnson, and LeBron James; to name a few. Overall, college basketball continues to remain one of the most popular sports in the US, with intense rivalries and passion for the sport fueling the culture of the competition. NCAA Basketball season excites fans and players alike every year, as they hope for a sweet victory in the tournament and the chance to take home a National Championship.

Florida at Florida State
NCAAMThe Sunshine Showdown hits the hardwood as the Seminoles host the No. 20 Gators. Both schools are 3-0. Florida leads the series 46-28 following a third straight victory in 2023. Gators guard Walter Clayton Jr. scored 19 points in that 89-68 decision.
TCU at Michigan
NCAAMThe Horned Frogs and Wolverines share the floor for the first time in nearly 62 years. TCU moved to 3-0 with a 76-71 victory over Texas State. Canadian guard Vasean Allette led TCU in scoring in twice this season, and is averaging 13 points per game.
Monmouth at Rutgers
NCAAMThe No. 24 Scarlet Knights (2-0) resume a four-game homestand as the Hawks (0-3) visit. Dylan Harper set a new NCAA career high with 24 points in Rutgers' 75-65 win over Saint Peter's on Nov. 11. Monmouth beat Rutgers the last time they met in 2015.
SMU at Butler
NCAAMThe Mustangs (3-0) visit the Bulldogs (2-1) at Hinkle Fieldhouse to revive a long-dormant rivalry. The schools last met in the 1939-40 season, when Butler, coached by arena namesake Tony Hinkle, bested SMU 42-37 before shot clocks were implemented.
American at North Carolina
NCAAMThe No. 10 Tar Heels (1-1) host the Eagles (1-2). North Carolina lost a fifth straight contest against No. 1 Kansas, 92-89 on Nov. 8. Wisconsin native Seth Trimble led the Tar Heels with 19 points, including a 10-for-10 night at the free-throw line.
Marquette at Maryland
NCAAMThe Terrapins host the No. 15 Golden Eagles for a red out at the XFINITY Center. The Eagles are 3-0 after winning all three of their Marquette Challenge contests. Maryland is also 3-0 after senior forward Julian Reese's 21-point effort Nov. 11.

Boston University at UCLA
NCAAMThe Terriers (0-2) play the Bruins (1-1) in Los Angeles. The schools last met in 1988. UCLA tries to forget about a 72-64 setback versus New Mexico at Lee's Family Forum in Nevada. Tyler Bilodeau (UCLA) recorded a 23-point double-double in the loss.
Central Michigan at Marquette
NCAAMThe Marquette Challenge continues as the Chippewas (1-1) step up to the No. 15 Golden Eagles (2-0). Kam Jones averaged 28 points in Marquette's wins over Stony Brook and George Mason. Central Michigan lost 73-72 to Stony Brook on a last-second layup.
Western Michigan at Butler
NCAAMThe Bulldogs chase a bounce-back performance when they host the Broncos. Butler fell 68-66 to Austin Peay in its last game despite Patrick McCaffrey's 23 points and eight rebounds. Western Michigan comes off a win over Division II member Davenport.
Army at Duke
NCAAMThe No. 7 Blue Devils host the Black Knights. Five-star freshman Cooper Flagg debuted for Duke with 18 points in a win over Maine, which is just down the road from Cooper's hometown of Newport. Flagg is the projected No. 1 pick in the 2025 NBA draft.
Villanova at Saint Joseph's
NCAAMThe Big 5 Classic gets underway as the Wildcats take on the defending champion Hawks. In 2023, Saint Joseph's won its two campus site games, including 78-65 over Villanova, before going on to win the first Big 5 Classic played under the new format.
Hampton at Providence
NCAAMThe Friars try to stay perfect by playing the Pirates. Providence moved to 2-0 with a 76-49 rout of Stonehill on Nov. 9. Jabri Abdur-Rahim, a fifth-year transfer from Georgia, scored 16 points in the win. Hampton lost its last game, falling to 1-1.
Eastern Kentucky at Clemson
NCAAMThe Colonels clash with the Tigers at Littlejohn Coliseum. Ian Schieffelin double-doubled to help Clemson beat St. Francis (Pa.) and move to 2-0 on Nov. 8. George Kimble III scored 36 points in just 43 minutes across Eastern Kentucky's two wins.
Illinois-Chicago at Northwestern
NCAAMThe Flames travel up Lake Shore Drive for a game with a regional rival in the Wildcats. Illinois-Chicago has won its two contests by a combined 60 points. Northwestern clobbered UIC 92-54 in the most recent get-together in December 2022.
