NCAAM
College Basketball, also known as NCAA Basketball, is the highest level of basketball competition in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) in the United States. College Basketball teams are made up of student-athletes attending institutions of higher education in the United States. It is one of the most popular sports in the country, with some of the most renowned NCAA Basketball teams including Duke, UNC, Kansas, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, Arizona, Syracuse, and Louisville. College Basketball is noted for its competitive intensity and passion that the student-athletes exhibit. Each NCAA Basketball season consists of a regular season with each team playing approximately 3-4 conferences games and 20-25 games outside of the conference. The season is then capped off with the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament, commonly referred to as the “Big Dance” or the “March Madness”, where 68 teams compete in single-elimination bracket to determine the Division I National Champion. This tournament remains one of the most popular sporting events in the United States and is often the most “bet on” event of the year in the US. NCAA Basketball has a long and rich history dating back to its first recorded game in 1892 and only getting more popular as the years went on. Some of the big names that have graced the NCAA Basketball courts over the years include: Lew Alcindor (renamed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar once converted to Islam), Bill Walton, Larry Bird, Michael Jordan, Tim Duncan, Magic Johnson, and LeBron James; to name a few. Overall, college basketball continues to remain one of the most popular sports in the US, with intense rivalries and passion for the sport fueling the culture of the competition. NCAA Basketball season excites fans and players alike every year, as they hope for a sweet victory in the tournament and the chance to take home a National Championship.

Bradley vs Middle Tennessee State
NCAAMMid-majors in the Braves (4-1) and Blue Raiders (4-1) battle for the Myrtle Beach Invitational title. Bradley rebuffed Wright State 77-74 in the semifinals. Jestin Porter's season-high 26 points pushed Middle Tennessee past South Florida 95-88.
St. John's vs Georgia
NCAAMThe No. 22 Red Storm complete a three-game swing through the Bahamas by battling the Bulldogs. St. John's Kadary Williams was a Big East preseason first-team pick. Backcourt mate and fellow graduate student Deivon Smith earned second-team honors.
Villanova vs Maryland
NCAAMThe Prudential Center hosts an Empire Classic contest between the Wildcats (3-3) and Terrapins (4-1). Villanova shut down Maryland in last season's meeting with a 57-40 win in Pennsylvania. Eric Dixon, Nova's leading scorer, chipped in seven points.
Wright State vs South Florida
NCAAMThe Raiders and Bulls settle for the Myrtle Beach Invitational consolation game. Wright State's Brandon Noel averages 23 points per game after scoring 26 in a 77-74 loss to Bradley in the semifinals. South Florida fell to Middle Tennessee 95-88.
Rutgers at Kennesaw State
NCAAMThe No. 24 Scarlet Knights (4-0) host the Owls (4-1). Rutgers freshman Ace Bailey collected 23 points and 10 rebounds in his second game, a 74-63 decision over Merrimack on Nov. 20. Simeon Cottle paces Kennesaw State with 18.8 points per contest.
Florida Atlantic vs Seton Hall
NCAAMThe Pirates (3-3) play the Owls (4-3) in the Charleston Classic third-place game. Seton Hall came up short against Vanderbilt 76-60 in the semifinals despite a career-high 20 points from sophomore Isaiah Coleman. Florida Atlantic fell to Drake 75-63.
UCF vs LSU
NCAAMThe Tigers and Knights compete in the Greenbrier Tip-Off tournament consolation game. Both teams were 4-0 before losing in the semifinals. LSU couldn't handle Pittsburgh 74-63. UCF trailed by as many as 22 in a 76-60 setback against No. 19 Wisconsin.
Florida State vs Massachusetts
NCAAMThe Minutemen and Seminoles wrap up their Basketball Hall of Fame Tip-Off schedules with this matchup at Mohegan Sun Arena. The schools last met a decade ago at this event, with UMass beating Florida State 75-69 in the consolation game Nov. 23, 2014.

Mount St. Mary's at Georgetown
NCAAMThe Hoyas continue an eight-game stretch at home to begin 2024-25 by hosting the Mountaineers. Georgetown comes off a loss to Notre Dame despite Malik Mack's 16 points and five assists. Mount St. Mary's won its last road date in double overtime.
Siena at Xavier
NCAAMThe Saints match up with the Musketeers at the Cintas Center. Xavier seeks a fifth straight home win to begin the season. Xavier's Zach Freemantle, who missed all of 2023-24 while recovering from a foot injury, is averaging 17 points per game.
UNC-Greensboro at Indiana
NCAAMMackenzie Mgbako and the No. 16 Hoosiers welcome the Spartans to Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall. Mgbako, a 6-foot-9 sophomore, has helped Indiana to a 3-0 start by averaging 22 points and 7.7 rebounds per game. UNC Greensboro is 2-1, losing to SMU.
Baylor vs St. John's
NCAAMThe No. 13 Bears (3-0) run with the No. 22 Red Storm (4-0) in the Bahamas Championship semifinals. The winner plays No. 11 Tennessee or Virginia for the title. Baylor is led by 6-foot-7 senior Norchad Omier's 13.3 points and 10 rebounds per game.
Tarleton State at Michigan
NCAAMThe Wolverines (3-1) host the Texans (1-4). All three of Michigan's wins this season have come by double digits at the Crisler Center. Yale transfer Danny Wolf (MICH) averaged 14 points, 12 rebounds and two blocked shots across those contests.
Texas Tech vs Saint Joseph's
NCAAMA semifinal matchup at the Legends Classic pits the Hawks (3-1) against the Red Raiders (4-0). This is the first meeting between the schools since the second round of the 2004 NCAA Tournament, when No. 1 Saint Joseph's ousted No. 8 Texas Tech 70-65.
Virginia vs Tennessee
NCAAMThe No. 11 Volunteers (4-0) link up with the Cavaliers (3-0) in the semifinals of the Bahamas Championship from Nassau. These programs last squared off in 2013. Zakai Zeigler is posting 15.5 points and 7.8 assists per game for Tennessee.
Memphis vs San Francisco
NCAAMThe Dons and Tigers tip off at the Chase Center. PJ Haggerty has helped Memphis to a 3-0 record by scoring 25.7 points per game. Freshman Tyrone Riley IV has been instrumental in San Francisco's third 4-0 start in four seasons, averaging 19.5 ppg.
