Campeonato Nacional de Juniores C

The Campeonato Nacional de Juniores C, or also known as the Junior C National Championship, is a Portuguese youth football league for male players under the age of 18. It is organized by the Portuguese Football Federation and is part of the SAD championship. It is one of the most important youth tier leagues in Portugal and is home to many young rising stars. The league is divided into four regions; Northern, Central, and Southern. Each region consists of 8 teams in Group 1, and 10 teams in Groups 2 and 3. The format includes a double round-robin system, with each team playing 30 matches in the regular season. After the regular season, the top 8 teams from each group advance to the playoffs. The teams are then divided into two groups and each group plays in a round-robin format. The top two teams from the playoffs qualify for the knockout stage. Teams receive 3 points for a win and 1 point for a draw. Popular teams in the Campeonato Nacional de Juniores C include Sporting CP, Benfica, FC Porto, Paços de Ferreira, and Rio Ave, making the league fiercely competitive.
