The cavalry asks cowboy Eddie Dean (Eddie Dean) to inspect 300 horses they're looking to purchase from J.C. Morgan (Shirley Patterson), to assist the Army in battling outlaw attacks on railroad construction workers. Eddie and friend Soapy (Roscoe Ates) visit J.C.'s ranch, unaware that the attacks are being conducted by outlaw Marino (Dennis Moore), who owns the town saloon. Fearing the rail expansion will end his stage business, Marino attacks J.C.'s horses, and she turns to Eddie for help.
