Deputy Jess Carlin (Audie Murphy) leaves his Texas hometown in disgrace, framed by corrupt saloon owner Luke Starr (Broderick Crawford) for a crime he didn't commit. When his brother, muckraking newspaper editor Roy Carlin (Víctor Vilanova), is murdered after printing an exposé of Starr's crooked deals, Carlin returns home from the Mexican border town where he's been holed up and enlists his brother's fiancée (Luz Márquez) and saloon dancer Kit O'Neal (Diana Lorys) to bring Starr down.

The Texas Rangers

The Civil War has ended, the Union Army has pulled out, and now the Texas Rangers are needed once again to protect their state from harm. The newly reformed Rangers decide to take a chance by hiring a notorious outlaw Johnny Carver (George Montgomery). They offer the desperado amnesty for his previous crimes if he'll put his famous trigger finger to work for Texas. Carver agrees, but his new job won't be easy, as his old rival, the Sundance Kid (Ian MacDonald), is out for vengeance.

No Mercy

After his partner is killed by the merciless crime boss Losado (Jeroen Krabbé), Chicago cop Eddie Jillette (Richard Gere) takes to New Orleans to settle the score. When he finds Losado's mistress, Michel (Kim Basinger), Eddie handcuffs himself to the girl and heads for the bayou in an effort to draw out his rival. And though squatting in a swamp handcuffed to another person is no recipe for romance, Eddie and Michel soon find themselves falling in love even as Losado is closing in.

The Juror

With his gangster boss (Tony Lo Bianco) on trial for murder, a mob thug known as "the Teacher" (Alec Baldwin) tells Annie Laird (Demi Moore) she must talk her fellow jurors into a not-guilty verdict, implying that he'll kill her son Oliver (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) if she fails. She manages to do this, but, when it becomes clear that the mobsters might want to silence her for good, she sends Oliver abroad and tries to gather evidence of the plot against her, setting up a final showdown.

Nothing but the Truth

When reporter Rachel Armstrong (Kate Beckinsale) writes a story that reveals the identity of a covert CIA operative, the government demands that Rachel reveal her source. She defies the special prosecutor (Matt Dillon) and is thrown in jail. Meanwhile, her attorney, Albert Burnside (Alan Alda) argues her case all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court.

The Throwaways

Given a choice to work for the CIA or go to prison, a notorious hacker (Sam Huntington) accepts the job but turns the tables on his employers by assembling a team comprised of poorly regarded individuals.

The Whole Nine Yards

Jimmy "The Tulip" Tudeski (Bruce Willis), a mob hitman-turned-informant, ratted on the mob and put his life in jeopardy. Now he has moved to suburban Montreal, ostensibly to make a new start. His next-door neighbor is mild-mannered, unhappily married dentist Nick "Oz" Oseransk (Matthew Perry). Nick recognizes Jimmy from the newspaper stories about his mob testimony, and that's when Nick's simple, boring world turns upside down.

When Jimmy realizes that the friends are his two top draws, he matches them in a bout neither wants.

Jay Cochran (Kevin Costner), a newly retired U.S. Navy pilot, travels to Mexico to spend time with his friend Tibey Mendez (Anthony Quinn), a powerful but corrupt businessman. While there, he meets Tibey's beautiful wife, Miryea (Madeleine Stowe), who has become unhappy in her marriage. Jay and Miryea soon engage in a steamy affair. But when Tibey learns of the relationship from his henchman, Cesar (Tomas Milian), he sets out to get even with both of them.
