The Take

Deep in the slums of Los Angeles, good-natured Felix De La Pena (John Leguizamo), a family man and armored vehicle driver, is shot in the head during a hijacking attempt gone wrong. In Hamburg, Germany, criminals are using safety deposit boxes to hide their ill-gotten wealth. Bank security expert Joe Collins (Warren Beatty) is privy to this and enlists the help of a friendly prostitute named Dawn Divine (Goldie Hawn) to help him steal it. Despite a few obstacles, the pair are successful in pulling off a complicated heist. Although the criminals are not able to alert the authorities, they are able to track down Dawn and Joe, who soon find themselves running for their lives.

Seems Like Old Times

Nick Gardenia (Chevy Chase) is a writer who has moved to a cabin in the California mountains to work on a novel. He is kidnapped by a pair of criminals and forced into robbing a bank. On the run from the law, Nick seeks assistance from his ex-wife, Glenda (Goldie Hawn), a big-hearted lawyer. Knowing he would never commit a crime, she lets him stay at her house despite the fact that her husband, Ira (Charles Grodin), a district attorney, is throwing a party for law enforcement officials.

Black Fox

Ever since Alan Johnson (Christopher Reeve) freed Britt "Black Fox" Johnson (Tony Todd) from slavery, the two have considered each other not just friends but blood brothers. The two men, with their families, move to the recently settled Texas wilds to start over, away from the plantations of the South. But the local Indian tribes don't want them there, and start kidnapping settler women and children. Since the Indians won't talk to white men, Britt is sent to try and negotiate with them.

Texas homesteader Delores Holtz (Cyndy Preston) is kidnapped by an Indian tribe, but refuses rescue when the opportunity comes. She falls in love with the tribe's chief, Running Dog (Raoul Trujillo), preferring him to her abusive husband, Ralph (Chris Wiggins). However, Ralph wants Delores back and plans a raid against the tribe to get her. Stuck in the middle, blood brothers Alan Johnson (Christopher Reeve) and Britt "Black Fox" Johnson (Tony Todd) must choose a side to fight for.

A River Runs Through It

The Maclean brothers, Paul (Brad Pitt) and Norman (Craig Sheffer), live a relatively idyllic life in rural Montana, spending much of their time fly fishing. The sons of a minister (Tom Skerritt), the boys eventually part company when Norman moves east to attend college, leaving his rebellious brother to find trouble back home. When Norman finally returns, the siblings resume their fishing outings, and assess both where they've been and where they're going.

Thunderheart

When a series of murders stuns a small Native American reservation, the FBI sends in agent Ray Levoi to investigate. While Ray is relatively inexperienced, he is one quarter Sioux and the FBI hopes that will make it easier for them to gather information from the locals. While the reservation police officer views the agent as an outsider, the tribal elder believes him to be the reincarnated spirit of Thunderheart, a Native American hero.
