My One and Only
Tired of her bandleader husband's philandering ways, Ann Devereaux (Renée Zellweger) packs her sons, Robbie and George (Logan Lerman), into their 1953 Cadillac and hits the road in search of a new man who can bankroll their future. Finding a new mate is not as easy as she thought, however, and as time and miles roll on, George begins to resent life on the road and his mother's seemingly selfish choices.
Catch and Release
A woman (Jennifer Garner) struggles to rebuild her life in the wake of her fiance's untimely death and the discovery of secrets he kept from her. Along the way, she bonds with his best pals (Sam Jaeger, Kevin Smith), including a n'er-do-well (Timothy Olyphant) she initially disliked.
The House of Mirth
Lily (Gillian Anderson) is a ravishing socialite who quickly discovers the precariousness of her position when her beauty and charm start attracting unwelcome interest and jealousy. She seeks a wealthy husband and, in trying to conform to social expectations, she misses her chance for real love with Lawrence Selden (Eric Stoltz). Her quest for a husband comes to a scandalous end when she is falsely accused of having an affair with a married man and is rejected by society and her friends.
Days of Heaven
A screen poem about life in America at the turn of the century. A story of love and murder told through the voice of a child and expressive images of nature in 1916. A steelworker flees Chicago after a fight with his boss; he takes his little sister and girlfriend with him.
She's All That
High school hotshot Zach Siler (Freddie Prinze Jr.) is the envy of his peers. But his popularity declines sharply when his cheerleader girlfriend, Taylor (Jodi Lyn O'Keefe), leaves him for sleazy reality-television star Brock Hudson (Matthew Lillard). Desperate to revive his fading reputation, Siler agrees to a seemingly impossible challenge. He has six weeks to gain the trust of nerdy outcast Laney Boggs (Rachael Leigh Cook) -- and help her to become the school's next prom queen.
The Lovers
An impossible love blooms across two time periods and continents.
Nancy Drew
Amateur sleuth Nancy Drew (Emma Roberts) accompanies her father (Tate Donovan) on a business trip to Los Angeles and stumbles across evidence in the case of a movie star's long-unsolved death. The young heroine's resourcefulness and integrity are put to the test in the glamorous -- but sometimes treacherous -- world of Hollywood.
The Truman Show
He doesn't know it, but everything in Truman Burbank's (Jim Carrey) life is part of a massive TV set. Executive producer Christof (Ed Harris) orchestrates "The Truman Show," a live broadcast of Truman's every move captured by hidden cameras. Cristof tries to control Truman's mind, even removing his true love, Sylvia (Natascha McElhone), from the show and replacing her with Meryl (Laura Linney). As Truman gradually discovers the truth, however, he must decide whether to act on it.
