Prairie Moon

Years after ending up on opposing sides of the law, two men are reunited by tragedy. When small-town sheriff Gene Autry (Gene Autry) and his sidekick, Frog Millhouse (Smiley Burnette), finally take down Jim "Legs" Barton (William Pawley) -- an old friend who has strayed -- a fatally injured Legs convinces Autry to adopt his soon-to-be orphaned boys. But, when a gang of outlaws discovers there's an inheritance at stake, they take a sudden interest in the rearing of the children.

Ride, Ranger, Ride

The Texas Rangers are being demobilized due to the arrival of the U.S. Cavalry, so good old Texas boys Gene (Gene Autry) and Frog (Smiley Burnette) join up. They know the area like the back of their hands and are aware that the local Native Americans are ready for war. The cavalry is charged with protecting a wagon train loaded with ammunition, and soon hostile forces are circling the wagons. Can Gene stave them off and get the girl, Dixie (Kay Hughes) ? Can Frog avoid being scalped?

Apache Country

At the request of the U.S. President, Gene Autry (Gene Autry) goes undercover to infiltrate an outlaw gang that's been selling guns and alcohol to Native Americans as a way to cover up its own criminal activities. Aided by Pat Buttram (Pat Buttram), Autry's undercover operation is a success, and he soon befriends Dave Kilgrain (Harry Lauter), the gang's leader. Autry and Buttram also receive help from Carolina Cotton (Carolina Cotton), who seeks revenge on Kilgrain for killing her father.

Western Jamboree

Under the soil of his ranch rests a priceless cache of helium, and foreman Gene Autry (Gene Autry) is trying to prevent villains from driving him and his crew off the property. The outlaws get rough with Gene and pal Frog Millhouse (Smiley Burnette), but Gene tries to put on a brave face for guests Betty Haskell (Jean Rouverol) and her fiancé. As Betty's engagement sours amid the upheaval on the ranch, she's soon taken with brave Gene. But he'll have to contend with the outlaws once and for all.

Trail to San Antone

After taking a spill, jockey Ted Malloy (John Duncan) is hesitant to ride again. Rancher Gene Autry (Gene Autry) thinks he's found the perfect horse with which the rider can resume his career. But when a fracas at the ranch allows the horse to break free, Gene, backed by assistant Droopy Stearns (Sterling Holloway), is forced to track it down. Realizing he needs a better viewpoint to search for the horse, Gene heads to the sky in the airplane of fellow rancher Kit Barlow (Peggy Stewart).

Boots and Saddles

Edward, Earl of Granville (Ra Hould), and his family solicitor (John Ward) travel from Great Britain to the American Southwest to sell a ranch owned by the young noble's late father. Foreman Gene (Gene Autry) and his sidekick, Frog (Smiley Burnette), convince Edward to keep the ranch, but rival land owner Jim Neale (Gordon Elliott) wants it for himself. A horse race whose winner will receive a lucrative contract with a nearby military base could raise enough money to settle the ranch's debts.

Down Mexico Way

Two alleged movie producers arrive in Sage City and claim that a film will be shot there. Promising to double investments, they collect $35,000 from the townspeople, then flee. Gene Autry (Gene Autry) and his friend Frog (Smiley Burnette) track the crooks to Mexico, where they learn a similar scam is targeting wealthy Don Carlos Alvarado (Julian Rivero) and his daughter, Maria (Fay McKenzie). Rushing to warn the Alvarados, the men meet the producers -- who are not the same men from Sage City.

Blue Canadian Rockies

Montana rancher Cyrus Higbee (Don Beddoe) asks his foreman, Gene Autry (Gene Autry), to travel with Rawhide Buttram (Pat Buttram) to Higbee Lodge in Canada, where he suspects his daughter, Sandy (Gail Davis), is disregarding his orders by starting a dude ranch and disrupting the logging industry. Higbee also regards Sandy's fiancé, Todd (Ross Ford), as insincere. When they arrive, Gene and Rawhide are set upon by vengeful mill workers and Sandy's mysterious foreman, Pop Phillips (Tom London).

Keep Rollin'

Gene (Gene Autry) and Frog (Smiley Burnette) are on a train bound for California when they meet Ronnie (Clifford Severn), a young boy hiding from kidnappers. Ronnie thinks his new friends work for his father, Frederick (Lester Matthews), who he says owns a cattle farm named "Rancho San Quentin." Gene and Frog realize the boy's father is in San Quentin Penitentiary, but decide to keep it quiet. When Frederick shows up after a daring jailbreak, Gene and Frog help him clear his name.

Melody Ranch

Radio star Gene Autry stars as himself in this comic Western. When the famous singing cowboy returns to his hometown of Torpedo, Ariz., to accept an honor at a community celebration, he finds the town corrupted by the three Wildhack brothers. Still holding childhood grudges, the Wildhacks conspire to ruin Gene's career. But with the help of his announcer (Jimmy Durante) and co-star (Ann Miller), Gene becomes the town sheriff and fights his way to justice.
