Trail to San Antone

After taking a spill, jockey Ted Malloy (John Duncan) is hesitant to ride again. Rancher Gene Autry (Gene Autry) thinks he's found the perfect horse with which the rider can resume his career. But when a fracas at the ranch allows the horse to break free, Gene, backed by assistant Droopy Stearns (Sterling Holloway), is forced to track it down. Realizing he needs a better viewpoint to search for the horse, Gene heads to the sky in the airplane of fellow rancher Kit Barlow (Peggy Stewart).

Boots and Saddles

Edward, Earl of Granville (Ra Hould), and his family solicitor (John Ward) travel from Great Britain to the American Southwest to sell a ranch owned by the young noble's late father. Foreman Gene (Gene Autry) and his sidekick, Frog (Smiley Burnette), convince Edward to keep the ranch, but rival land owner Jim Neale (Gordon Elliott) wants it for himself. A horse race whose winner will receive a lucrative contract with a nearby military base could raise enough money to settle the ranch's debts.

Down Mexico Way

Two alleged movie producers arrive in Sage City and claim that a film will be shot there. Promising to double investments, they collect $35,000 from the townspeople, then flee. Gene Autry (Gene Autry) and his friend Frog (Smiley Burnette) track the crooks to Mexico, where they learn a similar scam is targeting wealthy Don Carlos Alvarado (Julian Rivero) and his daughter, Maria (Fay McKenzie). Rushing to warn the Alvarados, the men meet the producers -- who are not the same men from Sage City.

Blue Canadian Rockies

Montana rancher Cyrus Higbee (Don Beddoe) asks his foreman, Gene Autry (Gene Autry), to travel with Rawhide Buttram (Pat Buttram) to Higbee Lodge in Canada, where he suspects his daughter, Sandy (Gail Davis), is disregarding his orders by starting a dude ranch and disrupting the logging industry. Higbee also regards Sandy's fiancé, Todd (Ross Ford), as insincere. When they arrive, Gene and Rawhide are set upon by vengeful mill workers and Sandy's mysterious foreman, Pop Phillips (Tom London).

Yodelin' Kid From Pine Ridge

Ranchers and turpentiners fight over a forest in Georgia. The ranchers want to clear the land so their cattle can have more room to graze, while the turpentiners wants to save the trees for their sap. Meanwhile, rancher Gene (Gene Autry) leaves the area and joins a traveling Wild West show, and violence erupts between the two sides soon after. Gene returns two years later to find things in disarray and cattle rustler Len Parker (LeRoy Mason) fueling tensions and plotting his own land grab.

Git Along, Little Dogies

To protect his land from the possibility of pollution, ranch owner Gene Autry (Gene Autry) sides with fellow ranchers who are fighting the plans of banker Maxwell (William Farnum), who wants to drill oil wells. But when Gene realizes the discovery of oil would bring a railroad to the area and create much-needed jobs, he switches sides. Conniving local businessman George Wilkins (Weldon Heyburn) turns investors against Gene and Maxwell, however, hoping to slip in and take over the oil business.

Twilight on the Rio Grande

Gene (Gene Autry) is in Mexico with his friends Dusty (Bob Steele) and Pokie (Sterling Holloway) when a chance encounter with a group of thieves ends with Dusty being killed. Determined to avenge their friend's death, Gene and Pokie head to the nearest town in the hope of getting more information about the outlaws. After meeting a brazen singer, Elena Del Rio (Adele Mara), whose father was murdered by a band of jewel thieves, Gene and Pokie realize they may all be chasing the same people.

Home on the Prairie

Cattle ranchers Belknap (Walter Miller) and Selby (Gordon Hart) plot to send their cattle to market before agricultural inspector Gene Autry (Gene Autry) can confirm the presence of hoof-and-mouth disease. Learning a veterinarian is also on the way to inspect, Belknap and Selby move their infected cattle to the ranch of unsuspecting Jim Wheeler (George Cleveland) and his daughter (June Storey). Suspicious, Gene and his partner, Frog (Smiley Burnette), investigate and unearth a complex plot.
