Mighty Aphrodite

When Lenny (Woody Allen) and his wife, Amanda (Helena Bonham Carter), adopt a baby, Lenny realizes that his son is a genius and becomes obsessed with finding the boy's biological mother in hopes that she will be brilliant too. But when he learns that Max's mother is Linda Ash (Mira Sorvino), a kindhearted prostitute and porn star, Lenny is determined to reform her immoral lifestyle. A Greek chorus chimes in to relate the plot to Greek mythology in this quirky comedy.

While she tries to determine her career goals, Iris (Toni Collette) becomes a temporary worker for Global Credit. There, all the regular employees ignore her, so she becomes friendly with three other temps: socializing actress Paula (Lisa Kudrow), conceited Jane (Alanna Ubach) and rebellious Margaret (Parker Posey). Though Margaret pines for a permanent job with the company, a rash of office thefts makes people suspicious of her, and Iris wonders whether or not to stand behind her new friend.

Sliding Doors

When Helen (Gwyneth Paltrow), a London ad executive, is fired from her job and rushes out to catch a train, two scenarios take place. In the first scenario, Helen dumps Gerry, finds a new man and gradually improves her life. In the second, she becomes suspicious of Gerry's fidelity and grows miserable.

Freejack

Early in the 21st century, technological advances have made it possible for aging, wealthy people to pay crooks like Vacendak (Mick Jagger) to go back in time, kidnap young victims like race car driver Alex Furlong (Emilio Estevez) and deliver them to the elderly clients, who then have their brains transplanted into the healthy bodies. Furlong manages to break free from his captors, but as a fugitive, he finds that the world of the future is a bleak, dangerous place.

Legionnaire

When ambitious boxer Alain LeFevre (Jean-Claude Van Damme) refuses to accept a mobster's bribe, he ends up with a price on his head. A marked man, LeFevre takes refuge by enlisting in the French Foreign Legion. After traveling to a remote Moroccan outpost, LeFevre and his regiment suffer repeated attacks at the hands of the Berber rebel army. As he struggles to survive his tenure as a legionnaire, LeFevre dreams of returning to France to find his lady love, Katrina (Ana Sofrenovic).
