Bandits

Joe (Bruce Willis) and Terry (Billy Bob Thornton) have escaped from prison. Cutting a swath from Oregon through California, these fugitives rob banks in order to finance their scheme for a new -- and somewhat legitimate -- life south of the border. Unfortunately, things get more complicated when they meet Kate Wheeler (Cate Blanchett), who runs into Terry with her car. Kate joins the bandits on their cross-country spree, and eventually she steals something, too: their hearts.

The Babysitter

Basic Instinct 2

After a crash that kills her boyfriend, Catherine Tramell (Sharon Stone) has her car searched by the police, who find illegal drugs. Prosecutors handling her case send Tramell to see psychiatrist Michael Glass (David Morrissey). Glass determines that Tramell, a novelist whose books deal with sensational murders, might just be a dangerous person herself. But his findings don't prevent him from embarking on a sexually charged relationship with the cunning cougar.

The Black Stallion Returns

Wealthy Moroccan sheik Ishak (Ferdinand Mayne), believing himself to be the true owner, dispatches his henchmen to steal a champion Arabian stallion, the Black, from its young caretaker, Alec Ramsay (Kelly Reno). Determined to recover the horse, Alec follows the sheik back to Morocco, where his pleas for the stallion's return fall on deaf ears. When Alec learns that Ishak plans to enter the Black in an upcoming race, he settles for training the horse's new jockey -- for the time being.

This biographical look at the life of Houdini takes several liberties with the facts, including how the magician actually died.

Mr. Majestyk

Vince Majestyk (Charles Bronson) is a Vietnam War veteran trying to keep his watermelon farm afloat when he is approached by a crook (Paul Koslo) who tries to force him into employing an inept band of farmhands. This incident lands Vince in jail for assault. There he encounters mobster Frank Renda (Al Lettieri), and instantly makes an enemy when he tries to obstruct the mobster's escape plans. Vince must stand up for his farm and his workers in the face of Frank's efforts to eliminate him.

The Black Stallion

Alec (Kelly Reno) encounters a magnificent black Arabian horse while traveling aboard a steamship around the coast of North Africa with his father (Hoyt Axton). When a disaster destroys the ship, Alec frees the horse and escapes with it to a nearby island, where they form a close bond. When Alec is rescued, he insists the horse be rescued too, and both return to America. There, Alec and former jockey Henry (Mickey Rooney) work to train the horse, which Alec names The Black, for a race.
