The songs of the Beatles provide the sonic framework for this musical tale of romance, war and peace. When young British worker Jude (Jim Sturgess) sets sail for the United States in search of his father, he ends up meeting carefree college student Max (Joe Anderson) and his lovely sister, Lucy (Evan Rachel Wood), along with a cast of eccentric characters. As Jude and Lucy fall for each other, their relationship is threatened by the social upheaval that accompanies the Vietnam War.
Barbershop 2: Back in Business

Not Without My Daughter
Betty Mahmoody (Sally Field) is an American woman married to "Moody" (Alfred Molina), an Iranian-American living in the United States. When Moody informs her that he wants her and their daughter, Mahtob (Sheila Rosenthal), to visit Iran with him, Betty is reluctant because of the country's harsh treatment of women. When the family arrives in Iran, Betty discovers that her husband plans to stay in the country for good, and has no intention of letting her or Mahtob return to the United States.

Thad Beaumont (Timothy Hutton) has had success writing novels under both his real name and his pseudonym, George Stark, which he uses to publish base thrillers. When word gets out that they are one and the same, the author holds a mock funeral for Stark. But after a rash of murders eerily similar to those in the Stark books, Thad and his wife, Liz (Amy Madigan), realize that Stark is real and responsible, and must work with local Sheriff Pangborn (Michael Rooker) to stop him.

In this animated film, Charlie Barkin (Charlie Sheen) is finding life in dog heaven a little dull. Even after his best pal, Itchy (Dom DeLuise), arrives in town, Charlie still longs to go back to Earth. When Charlie's old nemesis, Carface (Ernest Borgnine), steals the horn used by the archangel Gabriel, Charlie and Itchy quickly volunteer to retrieve it. Back on the planet, while scrambling to outwit Carface and get the horn, Charlie meets an alluring pooch named Anabelle (Bebe Neuwirth).
Quigley Down Under
Matthew Quigley (Tom Selleck) is an American rifleman who travels to the Australian outback to answer a help wanted ad calling for a sharpshooter. When Quigley meets his employer, Elliot Marston (Alan Rickman), he's appalled to discover the job involves killing Aboriginal Australians. The two men fight, and when Quigley is knocked out, Marston leaves him and a local crazy woman (Laura San Giacomo) to die in a remote part of the Outback. They're rescued, however, and plot their revenge.
