Day of the Evil Gun
Returning home after disappearing three years ago, former gunslinger Lorn Warfield (Glenn Ford) finds that an Apache raiding party has kidnapped his wife and children. Though he has renounced violence, he now takes up his gun and joins forces with his neighbor, Owen Forbes (Arthur Kennedy). Complicating matters, Forbes is engaged to Warfield's wife, who believed her husband was dead. As they pursue the Apaches, the two men are joined by an Indian trader, Jimmy Noble (Dean Jagger).

Davy Crockett, Indian Scout
During the 1840s, a wagon train is headed west with Davy Crockett (George Montgomery), a young man who shares a name with his famous frontiersman uncle, acting as one of the train's Native American scouts. After the passengers narrowly survive a series of ambushes from Native Americans, they come to believe that a spy is on board, helping plot the attacks. Suspicions fall on Davy's innocent partner, Red Hawk (Philip Reed), so he and Davy set out to find the real culprit.

Half-breed Max Sand (Steve McQueen) witnesses the brutal murder of his parents and vows to track down and kill the gang of men who did it. On his quest, he meets Jonas Cord (Brian Keith), a gunsmith who unsuccessfully tries to persuade Max to give up his vendetta. Instead, Cord teaches Sand how to shoot, and the young avenger uses that skill as he tracks down the killers one by one, a bloody journey that takes young Sand, now calling himself Nevada Smith, to Louisiana and back out West.

In 19th-century Mexico two women (Penélope Cruz, Salma Hayek) from vastly different backgrounds join forces against a ruthless U.S. bank magnate (Dwight Yoakam) who is stealing land from defenseless peasants so that he can build a railroad. A New York detective (Steve Zahn) arrives on the scene to bring the ladies in, but instead they win him over to their side.

Convict Stage
Outlaw Jeb Sims (Joe Patridge) and his brother, Johnny (Eric Matthews), rob a stagecoach and kill the sister of gunfighter Ben Lattimore (Harry Lauter). Hunting down the killers, Lattimore is shot by their mother. He recovers and pursues the brothers, finding them caught and en route to prison. The marshal escorting them convinces Ben to spare the Sims' lives and help bring them to justice. Unfortunately, the Sims' mother is also on board and armed, plotting to free her boys.
