Mangas Coloradas (Lex Barker), an Apache chief, and white trader Luke Fargo (Ben Johnson) are bound by friendship and their mutual love for Riva (Joan Taylor), a Mexican-Native American girl rescued from horse thieves. Riva marries Mangas, who teaches her the warrior's ways, and she later warns the Apaches of an ambush by white soldiers. When Fargo, who did not intend an attack, is injured, Riva helps him -- a kindness he must choose whether or not to return when war with the Apaches erupts.

Judge Jim Scott (Fred MacMurray) wants to sentence a killer to die, but the outlaw's family members intend otherwise. Gun for a Coward

It doesn't help that Will and Harry think Bless is a coward, believing that his inaction during a violent situation got their father killed. When rustlers attack the Keough herd, Bless is forced once again into a dangerous confrontation.

Sheriff Wade Addams (Hugh O'Brian) is engaged to Linda Gibson (Nancy Gates) and searching for an elusive killer, Tris Hatten (Raymond Burr). Linda's little brother, Clay (Donald MacDonald), happens upon Tris' hideout one day, and immediately notifies Wade, who arrests the killer. Despite efforts to keep Clay's involvement a secret, the details come out and Clay's life is threatened. Wade must protect Clay while sidestepping attempts on his own life by Tris' henchmen.
