Tomahawk Trail
Cavalry veteran Sgt. Wade McCoy (Chuck Connors) immediately butts heads with his new supervisor, Lt. Jonathan Davenport (George Neise), over the latter's lack of experience on the treacherous route known as the "Tomahawk Trail," but Davenport's unfamiliarity with the territory proves deadly when a trip to Fort Bowie finds the troop under Apache attack. Crazy from the heat, Davenport turns on his men, forcing McCoy to go against his commanding officer in order to save the lives of others.

Barbara Leighton (Marian Carr) travels by stagecoach to a small frontier town, the home of her fiancé, Duff Dailey (John Smith). When Dailey and miner Kerry "Crusty" McCabe (William Phillips) find the coach station ransacked by dangerous Cheyenne fighters, they board the stagecoach and swear to protect Leighton and the rest of the passengers. After Jesse and Frank James rob a bank in a northern Texas country, Sheriff Mark Rowley (Randolph Scott) and his deputy brother Johnny (James Warren) pursue them into the "Badlands" territory, an outlaw haven not associated with any government. The James brothers are also wanted by a devious federal marshal, who battles Mark for their custody. Soon Mark and Johnny are embroiled with the Dalton Gang and an effort by a female newspaper owner (Ann Richards) to make the territory part of Oklahoma.

Bounty hunter Ben Brigade (Randolph Scott) is on his way to California with his prisoner, Billy John (James Best), who is unaware that Brigade is really after his brother, Frank (Lee Van Cleef). The pair stop at a frontier post and and find themselves defending the poorly guarded settlement from a Native American assault. When the widow Mrs. Lane (Karen Steele) decides to accompany them to Santa Cruz, Brigade enlists the aid of two outlaws who may have a hidden agenda of their own.
