The Way West

In search of greener pastures, Senator William J. Tadlock (Kirk Douglas) heads west, with scores of settlers following behind. Tadlock has hired an experienced scout, Dick Summers (Robert Mitchum), to accompany the caravan on the way from Missouri to Oregon.
