The Kid has become a hopeless drunk, and they aim to clean him up and install him as marshal of Waco, Texas. Traveling from the East to the Wild West, Beth Martin (Adele Mara) finds herself caught in a feud between saloon proprietors Mike Prescott (Forrest Tucker) and Lincoln Corey (Jim Davis). Although Lincoln tries to win the heart of the lovely Beth, she finds herself attracted to the dashing Mike, adding more fuel to their ongoing conflict. Meanwhile, Beth's brother is supposed to have been toiling away in a mine, but it turns out that he hasn't been so successful, disappointing his dear sister.
