A ranch foreman (George Montgomery) saves a widow (Diane Brewster) from a cattle baron by catching a prize stallion.

The Lone Gun

A marshal (George Montgomery) courts a rancher's sister (Dorothy Malone) and rids a town of rustlers.

The Texas Rangers

The Civil War has ended, the Union Army has pulled out, and now the Texas Rangers are needed once again to protect their state from harm. The newly reformed Rangers decide to take a chance by hiring a notorious outlaw Johnny Carver (George Montgomery). They offer the desperado amnesty for his previous crimes if he'll put his famous trigger finger to work for Texas. Carver agrees, but his new job won't be easy, as his old rival, the Sundance Kid (Ian MacDonald), is out for vengeance.

Battle of Rogue River

A cavalry major (George Montgomery) makes peace with Indians despite an agitator (Richard Denning) working for carpetbaggers.

Seminole

Lt. Lance Caldwell (Rock Hudson) is sent to Fort King in Florida to serve under Maj. Harlan Degan (Richard Carlson), who wants to rid the area of the Native American Seminole tribe. This plan sits poorly with Caldwell, whose childhood friend -- and rival in his pursuit of the lovely Revere Muldoon (Barbara Hale) -- is the tribe's chief, Osceola (Anthony Quinn). Tension between the Seminole and the army rises, and, when a guard is killed at the fort, the lieutenant is blamed for the murder.

Bad Company

Out of the frying pan and into the fire: Civil War draft dodger Drew Dixon (Barry Brown) avoids the horrors of war by fleeing west, only to become mixed up with a gang of lawless youths led by the debonair con man Jake Rumsey (Jeff Bridges). The allure of a free-spirited desperado life is quickly spoiled by a series of mishaps that leave the bandits lacking food and money, and in constant fear of more sinister criminals like Big Joe (David Huddleston).
