Four Faces West

When his father's ranch faces foreclosure, cowboy Ross McEwen (Joel McCrea) sets out to rob a bank. Fortunately for McEwen, nurse Fay Hollister (Frances Dee) is on board to save his life. However, McEwen is far from free and clear, since Sheriff Pat Garrett (Charles Bickford) is hot on his trail. The Gunfight at Dodge City

Gambler and gunman Bat Masterson (Joel McCrea) rides into Dodge City, Kan., to visit his straight-arrow brother, Ed (Harry Lauter), who is hoping to defeat crooked sheriff Jim Regan (Don Haggerty) in an upcoming election. Bat purchases and renovates a rundown saloon, attracting the notice of Regan's henchmen. A shooting during the saloon's opening-night celebration causes Bat to pursue his own political vendetta against Regan and attempt to clean up the town's corruption once and for all.

After his cavalry company is decimated by an Apache attack, Vinson (Joel McCrea) takes charge and tries to lead his remaining men to safety. When prostitute Delilah Fitzgerald (Anna Thomson) is disfigured by a pair of cowboys in Big Whiskey, Wyoming, her fellow brothel workers post a reward for their murder, much to the displeasure of sheriff Little Bill Daggett (Gene Hackman), who doesn't allow vigilantism in his town. Two groups of gunfighters, one led by aging former bandit William Munny (Clint Eastwood), the other by the florid English Bob (Richard Harris), come to collect the reward, clashing with each other and the sheriff.
