Offered parole from Sing Sing in exchange for information about one of his old partners in crime, jewel thief Nick Bianco (Victor Mature) reluctantly cooperates with district attorney Louis D'Angelo (Brian Donlevy), who's trying to take down violent murderer Tommy Udo (Richard Widmark). But when Udo goes free despite the district attorney's best efforts, Bianco and his wife, Nettie (Coleen Gray), are in the killer's sights, and he'll stop at nothing to settle the score.

As Young as You Feel

After his 65th birthday, Acme Printing plant worker John R. Hodges (Monty Woolley) becomes a victim of his employer's mandatory retirement policy. In a scheme to get his job back and the policy repealed, Hodges impersonates parent-company owner Harold P. Cleveland and arranges an impromptu visit to the plant that he hopes will leave the executives' heads spinning. But when his granddaughter's boyfriend, Joe Elliott, discovers his plot, it could ruin everything.

Heaven With a Barbed Wire Fence

Three cousins (Carmen Miranda, Michael O'Shea, Vivian Blaine) must travel to Kentucky to claim Magnolia Manor, a plantation they have inherited. They are disappointed to find it in shambles. But things start to look up for them when Sgt. Rocky Fulton offers to fix up the place, on one condition: that they make it into a boarding house for military wives. To raise funds, they decide to perform various musical numbers, and, in the midst of preparations, a love affair begins to blossom.

Once Orsini falls for Verano's pretty wife (Wanda Hendrix), whom Borgia also has his sights on, Orsini realizes he must finally stand up to his boss, no matter the cost.

After Anne Providence (Jean Peters), a female pirate captain, picks up Pierre (Louis Jourdan), he claims he can find a treasure map in Jamaica. Some of her associates think Pierre is a traitor, but Anne has fallen in love with him. When Anne sails her ship to Jamaica, Pierre goes inland to locate the map but secretly meets with British navy officers, who have forced him to be a spy. Anne finds out and vows revenge by kidnapping Pierre's wife (Debra Paget).
