Crotchety Victorian businessman Ebenezer Scrooge (Alastair Sim) has no use for festivity, even at Christmas. After resentfully allowing timid clerk Bob Cratchit (Mervyn Johns) to have the holiday to spend with his loving wife (Hermione Baddeley) and family, Scrooge is swept into a nightmare. The ghost of his late partner, Jacob Marley (Michael Hordern), appears, warning that Ebenezer will be visited by three more spirits who will show the coldhearted man the error of his parsimonious behavior.
Man in the Attic
Jack the Ripper's rampage has all of London gripped in fear -- no matter how many constables patrol the streets, streetwalkers continue to turn up dead. On the night that a fourth woman is killed, the mysterious Slade (Jack Palance) rents out the attic of William and Helen Harley. Later, he meets their niece, Lily Bonner (Constance Smith), an actress. While he intrigues her, his behavior and obsessions arouse suspicion that Slade could be Jack the Ripper -- and Lily his next victim.

Flicka, the beloved horse of young Ken McLaughlin (Roddy McDowall), has given birth to a son. Despite Thunderhead's wild streak and rebellious spirit, Ken and his father, Rob (Preston Foster) try to break the wild stallion and make it into a prized racing horse. But Thunderhead's wild nature may by too much for either of them to tame.
Son of Robin Hood
In medieval England, many years have passed since Robin Hood was robbing from the rich and giving to the poor. A new tyrant, however, named Duke Simon Des Roches (David Farrar), is poised to seize control of the kingdom. To stop him, the remaining Merry Men must rally to save their fellow countrymen. Needing a fearless leader, they call upon Robin's son Jamie (Al Hedison). But the arrival of Deering (June Laverick), a girl who claims to be Robin's daughter, complicates matters.
Anne of the Indies
After Anne Providence (Jean Peters), a female pirate captain, picks up Pierre (Louis Jourdan), he claims he can find a treasure map in Jamaica. Some of her associates think Pierre is a traitor, but Anne has fallen in love with him. When Anne sails her ship to Jamaica, Pierre goes inland to locate the map but secretly meets with British navy officers, who have forced him to be a spy. Anne finds out and vows revenge by kidnapping Pierre's wife (Debra Paget).
