Soldier of Fortune
Jane Hoyt (Susan Hayward) comes to Hong Kong to find her husband, Louis (Gene Barry), a photojournalist who has been missing for three months. Learning he is being held captive by the Chinese government, she seeks the help of smuggler Hank Lee (Clark Gable), who has a shady reputation for being able to get anything done. Jane and Hank are instantly attracted to each other, but Jane will not abandon her husband. To win her heart, Hank must find a way to rescue Louis.
The Abominable Snowman of the Himalayas
British scientist John Rollason (Peter Cushing) is studying plants in the Himalayas with his wife (Maureen Connell) while he waits for his American associate, Tom Friend (Forrest Tucker). When Friend arrives, Rollason accompanies him on a trip to find the mysterious creature Yeti, along with Friend's partner (Robert Brown) and a guide (Michael Brill) who claims he can find the beast. The group proceeds despite warnings. However, the trip quickly becomes more dangerous than they had anticipated.
The Lost World
Anthropology professor George Challenger (Claude Rains), explorer Lord John Roxton (Michael Rennie) and an assorted team of thrill seekers and experts trek through a Venezuelan rainforest that they suspect may be home to living prehistoric creatures. Ingenious adolescent Paul Stephens (Christopher Collet) learns about the grim prospects of nuclear aftermath when his mom becomes romantically involved with government scientist John Mathewson (John Lithgow), who is currently experimenting with the ingredients for atomic warfare. Shaken by what he sees, Paul decides to nab the destructive materials and make a small-scale display of their horrible powers at the New York Science Fair, but the Secret Service isn't pleased with his actions.
