Oliver Twist
When 9-year-old orphan Oliver Twist (John Howard Davies) dares to ask his cruel taskmaster, Mr. Bumble (Francis L. Sullivan), for a second serving of gruel, he's hired out as an apprentice. Escaping that dismal fate, young Oliver falls in with the street urchin known as the Artful Dodger (Anthony Newley) and his criminal mentor, Fagin (Alec Guinness). When kindly Mr. Brownlow (Henry Stephenson) takes Oliver in, Fagin's evil henchman Bill Sikes (Robert Newton) plots to kidnap the boy.
The Return of Sabata
The third in a trilogy about the eponymous lone gunman, this one finds Sabata (Lee Van Cleef) working as a sharpshooter for a circus that's just stopped in an ailing one-horse town. The circus gig is only a front, however: Sabata is actually on the verge of robbing town mayor Joe McIntock (Giampiero Albertini). The mayor's been levying heavy taxes as part of a complex plan to defraud the community, but Sabata manages to rip him off first, only to discover that the money is counterfeit.
