The Killers
Two hit men walk into a diner asking for a man called "the Swede" (Burt Lancaster). When the killers find the Swede, he's expecting them and doesn't put up a fight. Since the Swede had a life insurance policy, an investigator (Edmond O'Brien), on a hunch, decides to look into the murder. As the Swede's past is laid bare, it comes to light that he was in love with a beautiful woman (Ava Gardner) who may have lured him into pulling off a bank robbery overseen by another man (Albert Dekker).
Too Late for Tears
A woman (Lizabeth Scott) kills her husband and plots with a private eye (Dan Duryea) after someone tosses a moneybag into her car.
The Left Handed Gun
Volatile young gunfighter Billy the Kid (Paul Newman) works for kindly rancher Tunstall (Colin Keith-Johnston), and they develop an unbreakable bond. When Tunstall is murdered by a corrupt lawman and his cronies, a distraught Billy goes on a violent rampage through the New Mexico Territory. Billy finally guns down all the men who killed Tunstall -- but in the process he endangers the life of his old cohort, Pat Garrett (John Dehner), who doesn't take kindly to the Kid's erratic behavior.
Day of the Outlaw
In the quiet frontier town of Bitters, Wyo., a dispute between cattleman Blaise Starrett (Robert Ryan) and farmer Hal Crane (Alan Marshal) is about to boil over into a bloody feud. But the fighting takes a back seat to a new threat when a rogue cavalry captain, Jack Bruhn (Burl Ives), rides into town with his band of thugs. Now, with the citizens of Bitters held hostage by Bruhn and his men, Starrett must somehow rescue his town and restore his broken reputation.
Station West
In 1881, former Army Lt. John Haven (Dick Powell) acts as a secret government agent on a covert mission to investigate the theft of numerous gold shipments. Haven confides his mission to Capt. George Ilse (Tom Powers), who is doubtful over the shifty Haven's intent. Haven agrees to report his results to reliable gold mine owner Mary Caslon (Agnes Moorehead), then searches for the town's financier, Charlie (Jane Greer), whose nefarious dealings immediately bring her under suspicion.
Rear Window
A newspaper photographer with a broken leg passes time recuperating by observing his neighbors through his window. He sees what he believes to be a murder, and decides to solve the crime himself. With the help of his nurse and wife, he tries to catch the murderer without being killed himself.
It Happened to Jane
After a shipment of fresh lobsters isn't delivered on time to Jane Osgood (Doris Day), a widowed mother of two running a failing restaurant supply business in Maine, she hires her lawyer friend George Denham (Jack Lemmon) to sue the railroad company she believes is responsible for the damages. The court case generates lots of publicity and Osgood is famous. A charismatic news reporter (Steve Forrest) takes to Osgood, but that doesn't sit well with Denham, who also has eyes for her.
Smoky Canyon
The masked Durango Kid (Charles Starrett) settles a feud between cattlemen and sheepmen.
