Bell, Book and Candle

In the late 1950s, Gillian Holroyd (Kim Novak) is a modern-day witch living in New York City's Greenwich Village. When she encounters charming publisher Shepherd Henderson (James Stewart), she decides to make him hers by casting a love spell. Gillian takes added pleasure in doing so because Henderson is engaged to her old college rival (Janice Rule). However, Gillian finds herself actually falling for Shepherd, which poses a problem: She will lose her powers if she falls in love.

Love Affair

Engaged ladies' man Michel Marnet (Charles Boyer) encounters spoken-for singer Terry McKay (Irene Dunne) aboard a transatlantic cruise, where sparks fly and a romance ensues. Once they reach New York, Michel and Terry agree to go back to their significant others, then meet atop the Empire State Building in six months, when both are free to pursue their affair. Though a tragic accident forestalls their reunion, Terry and Michel still hold out hope for a chance to rekindle their true love.

Lightning Range

Over the course of a single day, a U.S. marshal (Buddy Roosevelt) navigates the trails of the Wild West and attempts to enforce the law. The bandit Black Pete (Olin Francis) makes it difficult for him. But the brave marshal forges on, facing violent outlaws, stagecoach holdups, scams, ambushes, arson and robberies. He even assumes the role of the groom in a hasty marriage ceremony for the lovely Dorothy Horton (Patsy Bellamy), who must be married by noon to claim her inheritance.

Run of the Arrow

Dejected by the defeat of the Confederacy, O'Meara (Rod Steiger) heads west toward Sioux territory. After surviving a test called the "Run of the Arrow," he is accepted as one of the Oglala Sioux people and marries Yellow Moccasin (Sara Montiel). The couple create a family together and live contentedly until Capt. Clark (Brian Keith) arrives with a group of cavalry, hoping to build a fort nearby. O'Meara acts as a scout for the troops until their wary peace is shattered.

A Lawless Street

The honorable Calem Ware (Randolph Scott), marshal of the Wild West boomtown of Medicine Bend, attempts to defuse the simmering tensions in his rapidly growing and increasingly violent town, as a greedy businessman (Warner Anderson) hires a sinister black-gloved gunman (Michael Pate) to take care of his problems with the marshal for good. Meanwhile, a traveling song-and-dance troupe arrives in town, bearing Ware's lost love, Tally (Angela Lansbury), who holds the secret to his violent past.

The Return of Sabata

The third in a trilogy about the eponymous lone gunman, this one finds Sabata (Lee Van Cleef) working as a sharpshooter for a circus that's just stopped in an ailing one-horse town. The circus gig is only a front, however: Sabata is actually on the verge of robbing town mayor Joe McIntock (Giampiero Albertini). The mayor's been levying heavy taxes as part of a complex plan to defraud the community, but Sabata manages to rip him off first, only to discover that the money is counterfeit.

The Easy Way

Poppy (Cary Grant) and Anna Rose (Betsy Drake) have a soft spot for young people in need. Despite having three children of their own, they can't help but take action when they meet a pair of troubled young orphans. Young Jane (Iris Mann) is horribly depressed, while Jimmy (Clifford Tatum Jr.) is physically disabled and has a long history as a troublemaker. As they welcome the pair into their home, the Roses use love and understanding to help the orphans get to the bottom of their problems.

Tomorrow Is Forever

In 1918, Elizabeth MacDonald (Claudette Colbert) learns with shock that her husband, John Andrew (Orson Welles), has been killed in the war. Elizabeth bears John's son and eventually marries her kindly boss. Unknown to her, John has survived but is horribly disfigured and remains in Europe. Years later, on the eve of World War II, Elizabeth refuses to agree to her son's request to enlist and is stunned when an eerily familiar stranger named Kessler arrives from abroad and becomes involved.
