3:10 to Yuma

Dan Evans (Van Heflin), a drought-plagued Arizona rancher, volunteers to take captured stagecoach robber and murderer Ben Wade (Glenn Ford) from Bisbee to Contention City, where the criminal will be put aboard the 3:10 train to Yuma for his trial. Accompanied only by the town drunk, Alex Potter (Henry Jones), Dan battles Wade's henchman (Richard Jaeckel), the murder victim's revenge-minded brother, and the temptation of the large bribe Wade offers in exchange for his freedom.

The Shop Around the Corner

Alfred Kralik (James Stewart) and Klara Novak (Margaret Sullavan) are employees at Matuschek and Company, a general store in Budapest. Klara and Alfred are constantly at odds with each other, butting heads and disagreeing on almost everything. Both are enamored of their respective pen pals, who serve as welcome distractions in their lives. Little do they know, they are each the other's pen pal and, despite outward differences, have unwittingly fallen in love through their letters.

Meet John Doe

A reporter writes a fictitious column about a man named John Doe, who claims to despair at America's neglect of the little people and plans to kill himself. The newspaper then hires a ballplayer-turned-hobo to pose as John Doe. In a series of radio addresses written by a publisher with fascist leanings, Doe captures the public's imagination. When he finally realizes he has been used, Doe comes to his senses and becomes the man he never knew he could be.

In 1930s Mississippi, lonely Jackson Fentry (Robert Duvall) lives by himself as the sole caretaker of a sawmill. One day, close to the property, he discovers a young woman, Sarah Eubanks (Olga Bellin), who is three months pregnant. Since she was abandoned by both her husband and her family, Jackson takes her in. The two fall in love and get married just before her death. Jackson raises the child as his own, until the boy's uncles arrive to demand he be returned to the family.

Bells of San Angelo

Cowboy Roy Rogers (Roy Rogers) travels to Rancho San Angelo, a territory on the American-Mexican border, to help Cookie Bullfincher (Andy Devine) investigate some mysterious deaths around a silver mine. Roy's suspicion of mine manager Gus Ulrich (David Sharpe) is shaken by the unexpected arrival of Western author Lee Madison (Dale Evans), who advises Roy to read one of her books to help him solve the murders. Meanwhile, Cookie follows Ulrich to the mine and discovers a complex scheme.
