Return of the Bad Men

In 1889 in Oklahoma Territory, the land rush attracts thousands, including many outlaws. A gang led by Wild Bill Doolan includes the Sundance Kid (Robert Ryan) and the Younger brothers, who intend to take advantage of the confusion to rob banks. Doolan's daughter, Cheyenne (Anne Jeffreys), helps the gang in a heist, but is wounded and taken in by ex-ranger Vance Cordell (Randolph Scott). Vance sets about to change her allegiance, despite the misgivings of his fiancée (Jacqueline White).

Black Patch

A one-eyed marshal (George Montgomery) puts a bank-robbing buddy in jail, but two greedy locals try to get him out.

Along Came Jones

Melody Jones (Gary Cooper) is a laid-back cowboy who gets lost on the trail and ends up in the small town of Payneville. Seeing the initials "MJ" on his saddle, the people of Payneville mistake Jones for the treacherous bandit Monte Jarrad (Dan Duryea), and they nearly kill him before he is rescued by Cherry de Longpre (Loretta Young). Grateful for her help, Jones falls for de Cherry, not knowing that she is Jarrad's girl and that she plans on using him to help Jarrad elude capture.

Dead Reckoning

War heroes Rip Murdock (Humphrey Bogart) and Johnny Drake (William Prince) are sent to Washington, D.C., by train, but are not told why. During the trip, they learn they're about to receive top honors for their service. Johnny, seemingly terrified by the publicity that awaits him, jumps off the train and later turns up dead. Suspecting foul play, Rip begins digging into his pal's past. He encounters cover-ups, threats to his own life and deadly femme fatale Coral Chandler (Lizabeth Scott).

The Big Heat

A police officer seems to have committed suicide, but Detective Dave Bannion (Glenn Ford) thinks there's more to the story. After talking to the man's mob-connected mistress, Bannion discovers far-reaching corruption that leads all the way from the police station to kingpin Mike Lagana (Alexander Scourby). But when the policeman's lover is killed, it becomes clear that crossing Lagana is a dangerous thing to do. Soon Bannion finds himself marked for death and his family in mortal danger.

The Burglar

A thief (Dan Duryea), his half sister (Jayne Mansfield) and his gang steal a diamond necklace from a Philadelphia mansion.

Dick Tracy vs. Cueball

When bald bad guy Cueball (Dick Wessel) realizes that he's been betrayed by his crew of criminals, he starts hunting them down, one by one. Continuing on his rampage, the villain also decides to eliminate his arch nemesis, Dick Tracy (Morgan Conway), but the tough-guy detective is more than ready to put up a fight. Though the conflict means Tracy must spend time away from his lady, Tess Trueheart (Anne Jeffreys), it may give the sleuth a chance to defeat Cueball once and for all.
