Walk a Crooked Mile

After evidence surfaces of an information leak at a major nuclear lab, FBI Agent Dan O'Hara (Dennis O'Keefe) pairs up with Scotland Yard Detective Philip Grayson (Louis Hayward) to track down those responsible. An investigation of the scientists, including the enigmatic beauty Dr. Toni Neva (Louise Allbritton), leads the agents to a Communist Party spy operation in San Francisco, which they must shut down before sensitive state secrets are handed over to the wrong people.

Algiers

In Algiers, Algeria, notorious thief Pepe le Moko (Charles Boyer) evades police capture by hiding within the maze-like Casbah district. Pepe's renown makes him a popular target not only with policeman Javier but also sympathetic Inspector Slimane (Joseph Calleia) and jealous thief Regis. Through Slimane, Pepe meets the beautiful American Gaby (Hedy Lamarr) and becomes obsessed with her. Regis' plan to lure Pepe out into the open falls apart, until Pepe learns that he may never see Gaby again.

But when the studio demands new Smoky Callaway films, the advertising duo have a problem: Smoky has been missing for 10 years. In an attempt to cover up their mistakes, Mike and Deborah hire a look-alike to impersonate Smoky, and the act goes well -- until the real Smoky returns.

Never a Dull Moment

While visiting New York, Wyoming cowboy and widower Chris Heyward (Fred MacMurray) falls for Broadway songwriter Kay Kingsley (Irene Dunne), and after a whirlwind romance, the two marry and return to Chris' ranch and two daughters. After a boisterous welcome from the neighbors, including Chris' former girlfriend, Jean (Ann Doran), Kay settles into the demanding work of farm life. However, when Kay attempts to help Chris with a serious water rights issue, she places their new marriage in danger.

The Letter

In Singapore, Leslie Crosbie (Bette Davis) shoots and kills a man, claiming that he tried to take advantage of her. She is arrested and her husband, Robert (Herbert Marshall), hires attorney Howard Joyce (James Stephenson) to defend her. During the trial Howard uncovers an incriminating letter that casts doubt on Leslie's story. The two become embroiled in a blackmail scheme involving a Malayan clerk (Victor Sen Yung) and the dead man's widow (Gale Sondergaard).

Dodge City

In 1872, Dodge City, Kansas is the epicenter of cattle drives and lawlessness. Run by Jeff Surrett (Bruce Cabot), Dodge City isn't safe for anyone or anything. When Wade Hatton (Errol Flynn) arrives for a cattle drive, he's moved by the violent death of a young boy to take up the post of sheriff and take back the town from Surrett and his cohorts. But first he must contend with the rowdy townsfolk who, having been so long without law, desire to take the law into their own hands.
